This tour is absolutely wonderful!! Tyler was incredibly knowledgeable!! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Boston history. It’s a walking tour , the pace is appropriate but you do not go inside the historical buildings. I would not recommend for young children.

What a fascinating and enjoyable experience! I learned so much about the key leaders of the Revolutionary War. Mike is knowledgable and clear. It's a fast paced tour, with a strong story line. Mike has a clever way of drawing the group into the story. Highly recommend!

We love to walk and (being in our 70's) we wanted to learn more about the Revolutionary War than was taught all the many years since middle school (known as junior high back then). This tour was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of information put forth by a guide who obviously had both the knowledge and the desire to share what he knew. We would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about America's early days.

This was the absolute best tour that I have ever been on. Primarily because of our extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide Tyler. He gave us the tour by want of an historical story. Tyler has his masters in American History and knew details that we had never heard. Just a wonderful experience. We were very fortunate to have Tyler as our guide. Thank you Tyler!!

This tour was amazing. Our guide, Tyler, provided an exceptionally well structured, insightful and informative tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a really well structured overview of the historical context for each stop. Could not recommend more highly.

Interesting tour. Compatible group. However, I worried about the guide, who was knowledgeable and obviously a history buff, so ld loose his voice because he was speaking so loudly ! Isabelle

We loved the Revolutionary Story small group tour! Mike was an excellent guide. He’s a passionate storyteller and so knowledgeable about the subject. We learned about the American Revolution many, many years ago, but we didn’t learn it like this. The tour takes you on a chronological walk through Boston and the Freedom Trail sites. Highly recommend you take the tour early in your trip so you can revisit sites or areas and spend more time.

This was such a great tour! Mike was great. Pick up details were good on the app but Mike reached out via text one day before with good instructions and a contact number just in case. This is great as I have been on tours before and I had to call. This was a no stress meat up which is important. We got started on time so be on time. Compared to other tours I would say the value was excellent. I have taken tours in Europe and Canada as well as the US. Was able to use the bathroom before and part way through the trip. You will see a lot of goofy dress up tours (guides wearing colonial clothes) but this tour is no dress up and straight to business. I learned a lot about Boston. I definitely would do this tour again with other visitors.

This was a very informative & resourceful history tour. I appreciated materials prepared for the tour like maps, pictures, songs, mini soldiers & tea bags. It was very well planned & enhanced multi senses of comprehension!

My tour was led by Tyler who was fabulous and told us so much history and facts. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about the role Boston played in the American Revolution. Tyler had maps from the original time frame to show us how battles took place or to explain the area and how events happened. He did a great job engaging the participants on the tour so we felt involved in the events leading up to the war with England. I highly recommend this tour. Tyler has so much knowledge of the history and can share it is an engaging and informative manner.

This isn't just another tour. It's a great educational experience: a one-stop shop -- buy buy this tour and get an entertaining, fascinating, and uplifting immersion into Boston -- from the Puritan/Pilgrim influence through the Battle of Bunker Hill. Be prepared to walk rapidly among the nooks and crannies of Boston streets and alleys from yesteryear getting great insights from Mike along the way. The four hours flew by. Worth every penny and minute invested, and more.

Excellent, well worth the time and money. Information was great and he made the history come alive. Perfect length of time. The only thing I would suggest is opportunity for smaller group. That way could walk faster (and not have to wait for people to catch up) and talk slower. He had to talk fast to get all of the information he wanted to share across, but sometimes my brain needed a moment to catch up and think or I wanted to ask questions but didn’t want to slow things down. But the tour still gets 5/5.
