Manuel led us on a 2 hour journey into the past and we learned much about Toledo and the Jewish history of the city. Very enjoyable and memorable.

I’ve done many Jewish Heritage Tours from Israel, Budapest, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw and this ranks amongst the best. I learned an incredible amount and also validated info I already knew. Sonia was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable. The pace of the tour was perfect. We greatly appreciated Sonia as well as her knowledge of Spanish history and of her hometown, Toledo. Regardless of your religious background this tour is a must. You will not be disappointed.

We loved our tour! Irene was so nice and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated her insider take as a Toledo native. She’s also a great photographer :-) We spent most of our time in the Jewish quarter, and we saw and learned things we would never have found on our own. Irene had a key to the basement of a house where an ancient synagogue is hidden, she pointed out symbols and details we would have completely missed, and she gave us so much background on the fascinating history of the Jewish people in Toledo. She also knew every shortcut, which really helped, because the city is a maze and we would have been walking in circles without her. We weren’t sure if we wanted to lose a whole day in Madrid on a day trip, but I am so glad we did, as this tour was a highlight. If you are interested in learning about Jewish history and culture in Spain, do not miss this!

Sonia is a brilliant guide and storyteller. She knows every nook and cranny of the place and cuts to the essentials for the time you have to spend there. Impressive range, too - great for adults but also relates to kids so very well. Outstanding experience. Strongly recommend Sonia.

A wonderful and illuminating tour, and well worth the time. Javi, our guide, was a fantastic teacher, with an obvious passion for the history of his home town. His English was great, and he could not have been more flexible and helpful. If you’re interested in Toledo and/or Jewish history, book this tour with confidence.

Daniel was our guide for 6 hr in Toledo on 23 March 2024; 3 hr tour of the Jewish Quarter in the morning, and a 3 hr afternoon tour of the Christian and Muslim quarters. Daniel (he is a 4th generation Toledano) was amazing. He is both knowledgeable and attentive, providing rich perspectives (he is a 4th generation Toledano) of Toledo and Spanish cultural history. He was flexible in the tour contents, adjusting to our interest through discussions we had during the tour. He gave us several great tips about food and other things to see, including a ‘bridge to bridge’ walk outside the old city to get a different perspective of the city - spot on recommendation. We can’t recommend Daniel highly enough!!!

"Nando" is a true tour guide rock star. He is personable, fun, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and a joy to be with. We could not have enjoyed our time more and it was all due to Fernando and the information he shared with us and how he shared/explained it all. Anyone who goes to Toledo, must make this tour a requirement and ask for Nando.

Destino was an amazing tour guide! He brought the Toledo Jewish Quarter to life. I went with my 79 year old mom and 20 year old daughter and we all equally enjoyed it! He was very insightful and I’d highly recommend him to anyone visiting Toledo!
