We were late getting to Toledo. We were able to contact our guide, Fernando, and he graciously moved the time. It was a huge relief on a stressful morning. The tour was nicely paced, Fernando was easygoing, with a genial sense of humor and he seemed to know everyone we encountered. They all greeted him warmly. He gave us a lot of historical background, detailed explanations, political discourse. All in all a very interesting and informative tour. We enjoyed seeing the view from the Alcazár, walking around the city, and the visit to the Catedral with Fernando’s commentary.

The group answered my request promptly and offered me the options I requested. They were timely. efficient and I did not have to stand in line to get tickets. Javi was a wonderful guide – knowledgeable, thoughtful, very sensitive to the art and it’s history as well as my requests. It was a pleasure to tour the extraordinary art available in Toledo, particularly in the Cathedral.

Elegant, Eloquent, and extremely Knowledgeable guide. We could have spent the entire day with him. Getting to see the Moorish architecture along side the Spanish buildings and touring the Jewish quarters including a newly discovered mikvah during a beautiful season was a trip we'll never forget. It's so close to Madrid by train You must go!

We did a three hour tour of Toledo. Guide Met us at train station that was super easy from Madrid. Took taxi to top of city with some panoramic views of city. Wonderful walking tour and great insights. My two teenagers were along and they enjoyed as well. Special stop by sword shop and fabrication area. Ate lunch at LaCave was good (required-reservation). Train back to Madrid and great day

Toledo tour was excellent! This historical town is beautiful and a must to see to understand Spain history. Lidia’s historical and cultural knowledge of the town was impressive. She’s a local resident and was able to provide a unique perspective of the life in Toledo. Would highly recommend her as your tour guide.

My private guide, Daniel met me on time in front of the McDonald's in the central square. He sent me a text the night before and I asked to advisr me of the two best museums to see before we met at 2pm when the Cathedral opens for tours on Sunday. zi was able to see both as my train from Madrid arrived at 10am. Daniel said the Cathedral was the best museum in town and it was. It has 19 paintings by El Greco while the El Greco museum has only 18. Daniel is very knowledgeable about the art and history of the city. He also knows the guards and other professional guides. when my phone battery died he got the guard at the Cathedral to charge it for me while we looked around the Cathedral. Afterwards we took an hour to walk around the historic Jewish sector and the Muslim neighborhood. Three hours was just enough time to get a good feel for the city, but allow plenty of time beyond the tour to see all that it has to offer. If you take the Express train from Madrid its only 22 euros round trip and takes 35 minutes direct. But book online early. I tried to change my ticket to a later train and all trains were fully reserved.

One of the best tours we have ever enjoyed through Viator. Valle was amazing. Her extremely knowledgeable and professional tour made Toledo and the cathedral even more special. Highly recommend!

We loved our day with Javier in Toledo. Having grown up in Toledo, he knew so much about the city, it was a very personal tour. We loved learning about the history of this beautiful place and seeing it firsthand. The Cathedral is absolutely stunning. Javier had the best tips for yummy food and snacks during our tour, as well as souvenirs. This day trip is a must do for anyone traveling to Madrid.
