This was a perfect experience. We saw the home, temple,garden and the home life. Putu talked about the way of life for the rice growing family. Then we started preparing a wonderful meal. She was a great teacher. She guided us through making sauces, rice, sauces and spices we were using. And then we got to eat. And then she sent us the recipes. I highly recommend this class. You will learn so much.

This was one of the highlights from our trip to Bali! Putu and her husband picked us up from our hotel and took us to their home where we were immediately given fresh coconut water in the coconut! It was so nice to go to their village away from the chaos of Ubud. We loved hearing about Balinese culture and walking around their farm where they grow most of the food. Putu was such a patient and kind instructor, and the food was delicious! We would highly recommend this class to anyone!

Putu and this entire experience was incredible! It was one of our favorite things we did in our entire Indonesia trip. Putu and her husband Pasta picked us up from our hotel and were so welcoming. Being invited into their traditional Balinese home was an incredible experience. And of course, the food we prepared with Putu, as well as the conversation and knowledge we gleaned from Putu was invaluable! We made so much food and it was some of the best we had our entire stay. We 100% recommend this activity - it's unforgettable. I can't wait to make these recipes at home and share Indonesian and Balinese food with friends and family. Thank you Putu!

We are a family of 4 with an active toddler and had such a good time at the cooking class. Because it was private we could take our time. My little one was very happy to be there. The family hosting us and the food were amazing.

Putu was our host. She and her driver picked us up promptly from our villa and took us to her lovely home. She taught us how to cook traditional Balinese cuisine with ingredients from her garden. The food was delicious and she is an amazing woman. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for an authentic experience.

If you find yourself in the greater Ubud area please take the time to partake in this event. It is well worth your time, energy and resources. Putu along with her husband Pasta picked us up on time and shared so much Balinese cultural wisdom on our ride to their home. Upon arrival at their traditional home we were explained the concepts of the temple home and the cultural concepts attached. After a nice round of coconut water, the cooking began. I’ve had several meals in Bali, but this proved to be the best meal we had. Please take this class you won’t be disappointed

My girlfriend and I attended this cooking class in April and had the best time. From beginning to end, Putu and her husband exuded warmth and hospitality. Their cooking class, set in their lovely home, is meticulously arranged, and the dishes they prepare are simply delightful! Highly recommend!

The experience was so beautiful and Putu is such a warm, friendly lady who was great to have chats and a laugh with. Her cooking class is very well organised in her beautiful home and the food is so delicious! I would do this class again to learn more of her amazing recipes and explore her family property during the day. Loved every bit of this experience for my husband and myself.

Putu was amazing! She was so gracious, giving and thoughtful. It was the best activity by far! I’m so glad I did it. She welcomed me into her home and taught me how to cook 5 items for a traditional Balinese meal. She taught me as if she was a professional chef. Each ingredient was displayed beautifully, she described each ingredient in detail, and shared its origin. Putu had me do everything from the prep work to all the cooking, she simply directed me. I can’t wait to do it again on my next trip! Highly recommend!

What an authentic cooking experience with Putu on the family farm in a traditional Balinese house and setting. She promptly picked us up at our Ubud hotel for the 40 minute drive to her home. Everything we cooked was grown on her large farm - chickens, rice, sweet potatoes, corn, long beans, spices and more. We actually did all the cooking, not a demonstration class. We have taken cooking classes all over the world and this was one of our best experiences.

My husband and I truly enjoyed every single moment of this cooking lesson. Putu is very sweet and welcoming! She explains the culture and ideology of cooking beyond just cooking itself. Cooking instructions are easy to follow and beginner friendly. They ask for your input and feedback frequently. You can tell that Putu takes pride in her cooking. All the food we made with her tasted fantastic and fresh. It’s really the “Farm-to-table” experience that any foodie would appreciate. Strongly recommend 💕
