Our tour was very informative and our guide Ana was wonderful! We loved every minute of it. And as a bonus she got us reservations for a delicious lunch at Minjares. We highly recommend this tour!

Our guide, Alejandro, was incredible! He crafted the tour to fit the needs of our group of 20+ ranging in age from infants to 60. Everyone felt catered to and loved it. It was informative and fun. Most of all - his background as an archeologist brought the sites to life for us.

Toledo Underground Walking Tour is a one-of-a kind experience that gives you a true glimpse of the ancient history of the city. Our guide Enrique, a local expert whose knowledge and passion for his home city was contagious, immersed us in ancient history rarely seen by tourists. It was a thrill of our entire vacation to go into new archaeological discoveries not open to the majority of the public to understand how Toledo become the “city of three cultures.” Highly recommend this tour for those Indian Jones who like to explore the trails less travelled in order to deeply understand the history and culture of an area.

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and witty. Viewing Toledo through the history of the water supply was very informative. We saw Roman work, Arabic works and work bt the Visagoths. This was one of the most unusual tours I have taken.

Unique, small group tour: just our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) with our guide. It was different than I expected—each underground site was just a room or two and they were all very hidden from the street so it felt very secret. We walked all over the city to get from site to site which we enjoyed. Our guide’s English was good not great—hard for one family member to understand since he spoke very quickly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites and the city overall. Definitely recommend this tour!

I highly recommend the Toledo Underground WalkingTour. There were 5 family members on this tour and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Ana, was informative and enthusiastic about imparting knowledge of her city. We were able to see many excavations, learn many historical facts about both underground and above ground Toledo. Even though it was a rather hot day, Ana did not rush the group, answered all of our questions and was willing to give us an option for our last site of the tour to see. We all unanimously chose to see another excavation. Thank you to Ana for making this one of the best tours we have taken while traveling several European countries.

Amazing experience, small group and lovely friendly guide (Anna). Really knowledgeable about everything in Toledo. We saw old Hamams and Roman baths and medieval wells, as well as a lovely walk between the sites with explanations of architecture and features of different buildings. Absolutely fantastic experience and cannot recommend highly enough, definitely do this tour!
