This was a great introduction to Portuguese food and culture and perfect for our first full day in Lisbon. Gabriel was knowledgeable and entertaining and had great recommendations on how to enjoy the food (which drinks would pair best with the food at each stop, how to enhance flavors with piri piri, etc.). I liked everything I sampled! Gabriel gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. I highly recommend this tour with Eating Europe!

Eddie was a fun, knowledgeable, energetic guide! The octopus ceviche and pastel de nata were excellent! Also very much liked the green wine.

The food was varied and excellent. The drinks made both the food and the company even better. Gabriel was a gem of a guide. Easy to understand, didn't ever feel like he was reading a script. Would go again! (Three tours and we might even all move in with him!)

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable. However, I left slightly hungry which was sad for a food tour! I have taken food tours before in other cities around the world and have left completely stuffed and impressed. However, I was disappointed at the quantity and quality of the food provided on this tour.

Great guide and great tour - a highlight of my trip. I discovered some restaurants I never would have on my own and learned interesting history of the city as we walked among the stops.

I loved walking all over the city with a local! The food was excellent. I wish we had more vegetarian options, that was the only feedback! Everything was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Gabi was great. Loved all of our stops, everything we ate was fantastic. Gabi explained the foods and why/how it became local food. The drink pairings were very good as well. He was engaging and spoke well. It’s obvious he likes what he’s doing.

The food tour with Caterina was wonderful..she was very knowledgeable and engaging making for a fun evening. The food was a great overview of what Lisbon is famous for. I would highly recommend booking a tour with her!

Caterina (Cate) was great! Very knowledgeable about the area. It is a walking tour, and some of it was uphill so make sure you're ready for it! The food was very good, and we enjoyed visiting neighborhoods that were outside the usual tourist areas. Cate did a great job h was handling a very diverse group!
