The tour guide no showed and did not provide us the experience we payed for. Very upsetting. Won’t be using this company again. Requesting 100% refund.

I definitely would recommend someone to vist the Chapel and Basilica if visiting Rome. I'm not sure I would recommend using this service to accomplish that. Quite honestly, I think it's a scam that you need to book a tour in order to not have to wait in line for hours and hours to gain entrance. I found our tour guide's accent very difficult to understand and her mannerisms and odd sense of attempted humor did not add to the tour and only added to further make her information confusing. We were in Rome in mid May and the Chapel and Basilica were quite crowded! It was repeated to us several times that no photos are allowed in the Sistine Chapel and that the tour guides are not allowed to talk in the Chapel to allow for a peaceful experience. Our tour guide gave us some ridiculous reason that no photos are allowed, which if you take the time to research you will find it to be complete nonsense. There are many duplicate stations outside of the Chapel to allow the tour guides to give you some information about the artwork before entering. Our tour guide was woefully unknowledgeable and so difficult to understand because of the confusion of so many other tours taking place at the same time. Inside the Sistine Chapel, it is one large room with all of the frescoes on the ceiling. They corral about 500 people into this room and peaceful is not a word I would use to describe this experience. I saw no less than 20 people taking multiple pictures with their phones and no one said anything to them. Everyone is talking all at once and it was a cacophony of noise. My opinion, go, see it for yourself, it is something that should be seen in person, but understand that it will be crowded and the tour guides have a limited grasp of the English language and knowledge.

Excellent tour and guide, skip the line tour was well worth the money. Tour departed on time, was a little too crowded in certain areas.

The marble sculptures, the magnificent art covering the Sistine Chapel walls and ceiling, and the grandeur of St Peter’s Basilica were expertly explained by our tour guide, Francesca. This was the best experience of our stay in Rome.

Oscar our tour guide was excellent ! So incredibly knowledgeable and personable . He gave us a lot of information but it was not drawn out and it was very interesting .

Our Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica tour was superb. Our tour guide Ami was excellent - very knowledgeable and engaging for the whole 3 hours of the tour. Ami was extremely informative, and gave a perfect balance of historical facts and humorous anecdotes. A wonderful tour that we will always remember.

The guide did not show up; so this ended up being a very expensive way to buy a ticket and was absolutely not as advertised. Because we were not part of a group, could not enter St. Peter's Basilica from the special exit at the Sistine Chapel so had to spend a few extra hours waiting to get in because of that. We are supposed to receive a large refund per the organizers who were there that day but have not heard anything back about a refund.

Laura was absolutely amazing. While the Vatican was hectic, she was calm and wonderfully knowledgeable. She was able to move our group efficiently through the crowds and each time we stopped her insights were perfect!!!

Our overwhelming impression of this whole experience was too many people packed in, nowhere to stop and look at things properly and disappointment at the commerciality of it all. We were really looking forward to the Sistine Chapel in particular but it was packed and noisy, not like a chapel should be. The Badilica was wonderful and it was good to see St Peter’s square, but we wanted to look at the map gallery in particular and weren’t allowed to stop at all. Our guide was fine in the circumstances but clearly briefed to keep us moving. Never again.

Went to see the Vatican and sistine chapel and st Peter's Basilica but the basilica was close on the day we went so we got more time at the other places. Our guide was very informative and he was definitely full of knowledge on the tour. The sistine chapel was awesome and all the statues,paintings were beautiful and when we went to the Vatican it was the most beautiful church in the world. How they built it and the architecture of the building. We were so glad we had a chance to visit the Vatican and sistine chapel. Worth the time to visit this church.

Guide was knowledgeable and kept us moving. Definitely go in the morning before it gets hot. The skip the line was worth the money.

The conductor is so enthusiastic and professional. He is awesome. We enjoyed the tour very much. I learned a lot of things about history and renaissance art.

Not very memorable when guide doesn't show and what you had planned is ruined. Expected guided tour and was given tickets and told to go on your own.

Giulia was our guide and she did an amazing job. She knew all the right spots to stop and take in the sites. Her pace was quick enough not she made sure everyone was able to stop to take photos when wanted. She really made the experience is wonderful.

The guide no showed and we are currently waiting to see if Viator will give us a refund ($400 was the cost of the excursion) I will not use Viator again!

Roxy was a great guide. Lots of people and we had to keep moving. Disappointing that as a Wednesday morning St Peters closed for Papal audience. We must have missed it in small print. Roxy gave good ideas t go back and look at things after tour.
