Fabulous, one-of-a-kind, immersive experience. You can completely see what Diocletians Palace would have been like. Tour the palace first and then do this can’t miss experience. They also intersperse it with images from today.

We had a great time, it will give you a short history and helped you picture out the palace in those times. Highly recommended when you visit Split, Coatia. Staff are very accomodating.

Instead of being bombarded with hardcore historical info, the museum shared the view of how life is during that time as well as how the castle was before which delivers a more pleasant experience. I highly recommend going after doing the palace walking tour to complete the visual of the Diocletian’s story. The blueprint of the palace at the entrance was also interesting to see after the show. Overall, very enjoyable experience for all ages! Thank you to Declan and the staff who were super friendly and accommodating.

The costumes and the 360-degree views were especially interesting. I probably didn't really need advance tickets when I visited in April, but it was reassuring to have them. In the summer it may be necessary to purchase tickets online to avoid waiting in line or coming back at a different time.

Super cool experience! You are transported through time via VR while seated. Owner Declan is so friendly and welcoming too - gave me loads of recommendations for my travels :)

Good to visit before you start tour thrue the old city, so you get information about Diocletian's Palace before your visit

You watch a fifteen minute virtual reality movie showing a slave from the Diocletian era who works for the Emperor. The reconstruction of the original palace is depicted in some detail and was fascinating. I had just visited the ruins so found this particularly interesting. The latter part of the experience shows the current state of the Palace with simulated tourists providing an accurate contrast to the depiction. Well worth a look and reasonable value for 12 euros. Showings start every 30 minutes and can be booked online.

Highly recommend this experience to compliment your visit to Split and to really grasp the history of Diocletian’s palace. The palace has been woven in so impressively with the modern life of the city and this virtual reality animation brings to life how it might have once been. Visually stunning, well produced, educational, thrilling and even humorous in parts. Although it is only 15 mins you will not forget it, definitely a must-see!!

This was an amazing experience. I went twice: before & after touring the old town. The facility is excellent and nearby everything, so we could just walk there. Thank you, Diocletian's Dream, for bringing this virtual reality to us!

That's where a visit to Split should start. A totally must-see. I was with my young and teenager kids and it was pretty much the highlight of our trip.

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Split. The experience is amazing and takes back in time to when Emperor Diocletian lived in his palace. This gave us a good insight into the layout and different parts of the palace. After the experience we went back to the Palace and had a in depth understanding of the layout and uses of all the different rooms, walkways, street life. It is an incredible journey and I can not recommend this experience enough.

Would recommend reserving a time period to view this thoughtful history lesson delivered in a highly entertaining manner prior to then walking a short distance to the palace walls & exploring the palace ruins on your own. Owner(s) gave a brief overview with tips on getting the most from the experience. Comfortable seated area / did not feel crowded, could turn & easily view 360 degrees. My husband & I remembered pertinent details/facts from this presentation (probably more so than if we had purchased a guided walking tour/group). We were fortunate to speak with an owner (off season) - he shared a wonderful restaurant recommendation for lunch which was just a short walking distance from the experience. Thank you! A charismatic, engaging individual who is genuine about wanting visitors to have a great experience & gives back to the children in the community.

Took my girlfriend here as it was her first time in Split, she loved it. It’s a great way to learn about the history of Split!

Great stuff, just the right amount of VR not to be overwhelmed, hear about the history and get kids into it. I would recommend for families of all ages.
