These guys are solid and have great ski equipment supplemented with great service. Best thing is how they deliver it right to your hotel, which cuts the hassle from the normal ski equipment rental process.

Can’t recommend enough. Skis I hired were brilliant quality and perfectly selected for the conditions I had on my trip. They were set up and ready for me when I arrived and served to me by friendly and knowledgeable staff. On the final day I decided not to ski but black tie were happy to refund my day with no hassle. Will 100% use again .

Walked into the shop in Whistler, Village, and I believe her name was Sophie, gave us a great overview of where to ski, and where to go. We knew nothing! Skis were awesome! One of us needed to cancel skiing for a day, and it was absolutely no problem getting a refund on the skis. Will definitely work with them again on future trips!

I can’t recommend these guys & gals enough. The kit was delivered to our chalet by a great team who really knew their stuff. We then went to the shop many times to swap from skis to snowboards and back again. We were always greeted by a friendly team who were very efficient.

I looked for a rental for some skiis I wanted to demo to decide on a pair to purchase and found Black Tie rented them - was so happy I did! They gave a discount for booking a few days ahead, delivered an additional set of skiis they thought I may like and arrived exactly at the time they estimated they would deliver! The gentleman was knowledgeable and fitted both pairs to my boots so I could try a different pair each day. When I called after day 2 to return them, they gave me a rest day and arrived to pick up the original 2 pairs and delivered another couple pairs to discuss. I decided on one pair to try and didn’t like them at all so called from the top of the mountain and they found a pair I wanted to try for the 2nd time for me…all I had to do was an easy download and short walk to the Sundial location and they were waiting for me and quickly adjusted to my boot. I had an amazing ski day and ended up finding a store to buy them from!!! Highly recommend this company and amazed at their customer service!

We have used Black Tie Ski Rentals in Whistler for several ski trips (including our most recent spring ski trip in April 2022), due to their convenient location (at the base of Blackcomb gondola), their pricing (better than competitors), and their friendly helpful staff.

These guys are amazing. The staff were super quick with getting us fitted and very friendly. You can leave your skis with them at either whistler or blackcomb base so you don't need to lug em back to your hotel. The equipment is also very great quality. Choose these local guys for your ski hire in Whistler!

I would 100% recommend using Black Tie to rent equipment from. The delivery service was very profesdion and the technicians answered all of our questions even those not related to the equipment. Their choice of skis for us could not be faulted and even with an existing knee injury I was able to ski well. The returns method could not have been easier and I will definitely use these again next time I visit Whistler skiing

Awesome service! The team met us at our hotel at exactly the time we had agreed. They were brilliant with our two young boys getting them fitted and set up with everything that they needed alongside my wife and I. The boots and ski’s appeared brand new and were great quality with premium brands. Once we were skiing, the store at the bottom of the mountain is just a few steps away from the gondola, so couldn’t be more convenient to store ski’s and poles overnight and the team went out of their way to help with anything during the week. Totally recommend their service!

Absolutely first class - all the way. I didn’t want to bring my skis on my flight so I just brought my boots. I booked a time (wanting to avoid crowds) and was very impressed. I passed the line up in my hotel for ski rentals walked into their shop, sat in a safe, private comfortable space and was quickly fitted for great premium skis. I had pre-booked online and after confirming a few details the expert had completed my fitting and I was out the door. Literally 15 minutes (tops). They also offered to deliver and pick my skis up from my hotel. I cannot say enough about this first class service. Highly recommend!

This is a FANTASTIC ski rental company. Also one of the few locally owned rental companies in Whistler. Service is professional and efficient and for the same rate they will even offer door to door service where they visit you and do a private fitting at your hotel. Their store locations are also at the base of Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains, so also very easy to visit their locations. I opted a hotel fitting the first time and the second time walked to the Whis location and rented on the spot. 10/10 would rent again!

Easy to switch out your skis/boots and staff is happy to help. They bend over backwards to help in any way.
