Our family of four did this tour yesterday and it was awesome. From the pre-trip ph call, to the friendly welcome we got on our arrival, the tour guides of Jesse and Lisa making us feel relaxed and safe in their guidance/advice yet making it exciting and thrilling at the same time - they got the balance just right. The conversation programme was really interesting to hear about and we’d definitely recommend doing this trip. Thanks Jesse and Lisa - you guys were great

Nina and Fran were two of the most energetic, funny, conscientious, and even tempered guides. They were patient with my group, which consisted of a number of older people who had not had a lot of experience zip lining. I really like the way this company integrates zip lining with forest conservation. A portion of your ticket price is donated to a nonprofit that overseas the health of this mature New Zealand forest

I had never been zip lining before. I was nervous about it. Vincent and Andrew put me at ease and took great care of me! Do it! You won't be disappointed! Great views and you will learn a lot!

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Adventure in a natural setting with great guides (and bird pals). Good for young and old, fighting-fit and slightly creaky. Have a go!

A really fun way to explore the Rotorua canopy and learn about its conservation efforts! Our guides, Andrew and Steve, were awesome and super knowledgeable. The tour included 6 ziplines and 2 or 3 suspension bridges. We got great photos (included for free!), had the chance to feed wild birds, and even got to turn upside down on our last line. The scenery is stunning, of course, so it was simply an awesome experience all around.

OMG, it was absolutely amazing!!!!!! This was my first time zip lining and I loved it. Our guides Andrew and Vincent were the best. I felt safe and they checked and rechecked our equipment before each of the 6 zip lines included in our tour. Also they were very knowledgeable about the conservation of the forest and its inhabitants during our hike in and out of the forest.

The most fun we ever had with our clothes on. Jared T & Andrew B just added another layer of excitement. What a blast. Recommend them for guides of the year.

This is a MUST DO experience! It was by far our favourite experience touring the North Island. Our guides were insightful, experienced and professional. It was not only a fun filled adventure but also an appreciation of Rotorua Canopy Tour's amazing conservation work.

I had an amazing time. Amy and Jenna were fantastic, entertaining, funny, and kept us all safe. My friend is afraid of heights and they made her feel safe and she was able to complete the whole tour. The reserve is beautiful. The air just smells fresh. I also liked that they have a project to remove pest in the forest so that the endemic species can flourish and they do so in a humane and sustainable way. I would definitely recommend this tour especially if you like heights or adrenaline. Maybe even try the ultimate experience.

An epic adventure for our whole family! Sam and Shane were fantastic guides and were awesome with the kids (6-8). It was exciting, safe, informative and so nice to be out in the beautiful forest.

Highly recommend - we did this in the school holidays with 2 of our children aged 6 and 8. They absolutely loved it! The guides Shane and Sam were extremely knowledgeable and made the experience seamless for our 2 kids. I thought the kids would be a bit nervous but I think the calm and confident demeanour of the guides meant they took it in their stride and had an absolute ball. I've done zip lining in Slovenia, Mexico and Laos and this experience was by far the best in terms of safety balanced with thrill factor. I also love the fact that this organisation is making a tangible difference through its forest conservation programme.

If you want a reasonable dose of adrenaline rush, a bit of adventure, love nature and want to support a conversation project, then this is a perfect activity for you! The guides are cool and amazing!
