We were fortunate enough to have Nezha be our guide. What an absolutely lovely lady! Habbous is Nezha’s hometown and she knows it so well. We really got to see how the local people live, off the beaten path from the tourist areas. Nezha shares her passion for food and her town in a way that makes you fall in love with both as well. There were so many different stops, and each stop provided an abundance of food. There were only two of us on this tour and there was easily enough food for 8 people at every stop. Nezha was the consummate hostess and made sure we were fat and happy the entire time. What a delicious and entertaining way to spend an evening. Thank you so much for such a perfect experience! Our guide. Hasma was full of interesting facts about the food, the markets, and their history in Morocco. We tried a lovely sampling of treats and meats, fruits, nuts and savory pastries. Hasma showed us tastes and sounds we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.

We went through the spice, meat and food markets and ate delicious food, olives/dips and pastries. It was extremely informative and delightful. I heavily recommend it! This was how we spent our first full day in Morocco-the beginning of a 2 1/2 week trip thru Morocco. Our group of 11 was fabulously accommodated by Christine and her staff, Neha and Hasna. This tour was one of the best street food tours we had ever been on. It incorporated food, culture, food, religion, food, history, food, local markets, food, government building, food, a Hamman, food, a local home and more food! The variety and amount of the food samples was unbelievable. They were a wealth of information and covered so much of Moroccan life. The things we learned and ate on this tour were reinforced throughout the rest of our trip. We began the tour in the morning and did not finish until 4pm. Honestly, they were great and I would highly recommend this tour. Go hungry!!Doing this tour on our fist full day in Morocco was the best decision we made! Doing this tour on our fist full day in Morocco was the best decision we made! Our tour guide Nezha was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, she introduced us to all the best foods in Morocco, what to try, and what to look for. Without her expertise, we wouldn't have tried all the amazing food that we ordered for the rest of our three city trip (Casablanca, Fez and Marrakesh). Not only did she take us to all the best markets, bakeries, and tea places, she also shared so much about Casablanca and Morocco. Our favorite part of the tour was when Nezha walked us through the various markets buying fresh meat and vegetables and then took us to a local restaurant where they cooked it all for us. It was one of the best meals we had! With cryptic instructions like, meet your guide under the arches across the street, I knew the possibilities for this tour were boundless. With cryptic instructions like, meet your guide under the arches across the street, I knew the possibilities for this tour were boundless. Right on time, from the moment we met Nezha, I knew we were in good hands. Knowledgeable and charming, she responded with such in depth and thoughtful answers to all our questions. From the streets bustling of Habbous, to the chaotic streets and lanes of the market, there were countless treats to be tasted, seen and heard. Nezha was a superstar guide. If you have an inkling that you would like to do this tour, she comes highly recommended.
