Olivier is a french married to a mongolian wife. he was very accommodative. that day was raining and the hike was supposedly muddy, so we discussed and he brought me to somewhere less wet. we did a small hike, saw the suburbs and visited a less visited temple -- off the beaten track!

We had a great experience on this hike with Oliver! He is knowledgeable about Mongolia and brings an interesting perspective as someone from Europe who has been living and working in here. He was also patient with us as we weren’t as prepared as we should have been for this hike, but with Oliver in the lead we persevered with a rewarding end to our endeavor. Notes on the hike: the trail is not marked as you would expect in other more developed places and it is important to keep an eye on Oliver, he knows this place very well. Also make sure to bring adequate clothing for a mountain hike. It’s was nice and sunny at the base and as we ascended it became quite cold, wet, muddy and we even went through snow.olivier was really helpful and very nice to me and my wife. we would enjoy mongolia thanks to him he is a wonderful guide. i really recommend thia agency.i would like to come back again. i will ask olivier when we come back.

Had a very pleasant day. We hiked to the summit of Bogd Khan - it was rigorous enough that I felt like I had a good workout. Saw some interesting cultural aspects, as well as some fun wildlife and plants. Ate some wild raspberries, strawberries and currents. The remnants of the Mansushir Monestery were fascinating, not having visited such a site before. Would highly recommend this day trip if you are in UB and need to get some vigorous exercise and/or be in nature for a day.The guide Olivier is very punctual and knows a lot about the place. The guide Olivier is very punctual and knows a lot about the place. He explained details of the city and the places we visited and showed and let us try some wild fruits that we wouldn't have even realised without him. One suggestion is, if you don't want to spend too much time on the way back to Ulaan due to the traffic jam, you may want to hurry up a little bit. ;) It was nice and peaceful hiking overall. I would recommend this tour!Olivier is a person who you can rely on in the nature - he will advise you on small details, what to each, what animals can be seen there and in between explains the culture differences of Mongolians.
