Had a great trip. My driver Justin was attentive, flexible and a very safe driver navigating the endless bends in the road. The views on the way to the lake and of the lake were beautiful and the boat ride was enjoyable and tranquil, also enjoyed the tour of the city.

The village was most interesting. We had a nice lunch along the lake prior to boarding our boat. We were on Lake Kivu motoring along the shoreline for about an hour which was very peaceful & relaxing. It’s a very scenic tour with a rich and diverse program. It’s a very scenic tour with a rich and diverse program. I had a wonderful company of Justin (driver and guide) and Faith (guide trainee) - fun, laid back and very cordial. Justin was driving very safely, which I very much appreciated it. My highlight was the moment when we were floating in the middle of the lake with motor off. The tour was well-organised and the communication with the company was clear and easy.Jonathan made our overall tour very easy. We experienced Kigali genocide memorial, did city tour also.

Peter is the best Guide! This trip was amazing! It’s was a long 5 hour drive to lake Kivu but it was filled with beautiful scenery and explanations about the Rwandan people and their culture. We had the chance stop in a small village and learn about traditions, dance, and food (mainly their love of milk) and it’s significance. When we got to the lake we enjoy some activités and went to the hot springs where we got to participate in a natural mud bathing process. It was lovely (don’t forget your swim suit for this part). Over all it was a lovely day. We ended up extending the trip last minute. Peter helped up find an affordable place to stay and a great place to eat with no hesitation even though he was not prepared to stay the night. I felt safe and well looked after. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend Peter and the silver bird tour agency!! Here is their number : +250 788 541 703
