What a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours getting to know the hidden parts of Newcastle. George kept adults and children alike enthralled from the minute he turned up dressed as a friar. Tales of medieval murder, mayhem (& some romance) were delivered throughout a two hour walking tour. We learnt new facts (the Bigg Market has always been synonymous with beer 😆) and George was an excellent guide. This is a must do, especially with a ticket for the castle included in the price. Certainly value for money.
