2 Days-1 Night Camel Tour
Overview
Adventure Travel Agency organizing camel safari since 1987 and our safaris takes you into remote and isolated areas of the Thar desert during which you will experience visiting villages, native wildlife, some of the most beautiful sunset and sunrise as well as sleeping under the star filled sky in our very clean custom made bedrolls. During your tour you are welcome to learn local cooking skills from our camel guides as all the meals are freshly prepared over the campfire.
Inclusions
- Breakfast - Breakfast: Tea, coffee, mineral/filtered water, toast with jam, porridge, fruit and eggs
- Lunch - Lunch: Tea, coffee, mineral/filtered water, mixed vegetable dish, chapatti, rice and fruit
- Dinner - Dinner: Tea, coffee, mineral/filtered water, 2 mixed vegetable dishes, dhal, chapatti, rice and fruit
- Coffee and/or Tea
- own camel to ride (one person one camel) and camel driver cum guides
- Transfer to & from camp by jeep, mineral/filtered water & clean swags to sleep
What to expect
Itinerary
Day-1
Your departure is early in the morning at 6:30 am by jeep to the campsite 50 km from city. Breakfast is served at the camp
8:30 am - 12:00 noon - The exciting camel safari starts visiting a beautiful small villages.
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm – The camel trek starts again while riding through isolated sand dunes
After the day’s desert experiences you arrive at our campsite for stunning sunset & later enjoy delicious dinner, freshly prepared over the camp fire; and when you are sleeping beneath the star studded sky on your clean bed roll you will have the dreams of the desert
DAY 2
After sunrise & breakfast, the tour continues with the adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes
8:00 am - 2:00 noon – You will experience the desert environment and get a glimpse of the desert vegetation and the exotic creatures on the sand - along with a village on the way if you wish to visit.
12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch & rest in the shade of trees
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – You can enjoy camel riding & galloping along the way while reaching the campsite before returning to Jaisalmer by an hour jeep drive

Additional information
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Service animals allowed
- Infants must sit on laps
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- The group size can maximum be of 6 to 8 people or any size if you travel with your own group
- In event of the bad weather condition we could be cancel the tour; in this case we can offer a refund or another departure date
- Please note that there are no man made facilities available on the tour such as tents or washrooms; for toilet you have to go behind the bushes.
- Please inform us of any food allergy you may have
- if you are single traveler we would kindly ask you to please contact us by email and we will endeavor to join you with the group.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Cancellation
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.

The desert trip was wonderful. We went to Jaisalmer last November. We arrived very early and the boss gave us a place to stay and offered us a shower at his home. It's great and so warm hearted. The boss helped us on our very tight timetable so we could finish our trip perfectly. I like the camel guider Sanju and Taga. They are so friendly and interesting. They know a lot and if u talk to them u will aware a whole new world. I surely will choose this agency again next time. Please tell Sanju we hope to meet him again in the future. Sorry I reviewed very late. it's hard to express how I love and how I miss my trip with you in Jaisalmer😊😊hl8709

We had a fantastic camel safari with adventure travel agency in Jaisalmer. They were so friendly and helpful from the outset, organising all our transport and a drop off to our hotel afterwards. They gave us a great packing list and all the advice we needed. Our guide was great and always checking we were ok. Food was excellent, nice veg curry, rice and dal then delicious porridge, eggs and toast in the morning. We even were brought tea in bed in the morning! They give you all you need for sleeping, including clean duvets and pillows. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!martin_moore2000

He was so attentiv and knew so much about history and about the dunes that it was a pleasure to talk to him. The Camelride was fun and very comfortable and the sleeping outdoors under the stary night a must for people that love the outdoors. Our cook made a wonderful meal (indian) all on the fire and all by hand, thank you so much! We even had breakfast in bed....with homemade porridge and fresh bananas! This camel tour was the best experience I've had in India. Indra and Vikram are gifted tour organizers and it really couldn't have been any better. Arun (driver, camp-maker) and Taga (camel-driver) were fantastic on the ground and made sure we had an excellent time. This is the perfect camel tour. We saw a booted eagle, bee-eater birds and antelope. From our camp in an idyllic, isolated spot we watched the sunset and ate a delicious meal Taga and Arun prepared. Then we gazed at the stars. In the morning we sipped chai and watched the dawn. When we got back to Jaisalmer we were able to shower, Indra and Vikram thought of everything.prithvi_vp
