The trip was worth the money they asked for. Adventure beyond expectations and the guide was on point when it came to wildlife explanations. We enjoyed both the land safari and the boat cruise at the kazinga channel. It was all well apart from when the lodge's electricity went off for sometime during the day but the guide made sure we charge our phones in the car. The magnificent sceneries we encountered during the travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park also made the trip so awesome indeed Uganda is a beautiful country. Would love to travel again to other parts of the country with Inspire African Safaris because they deliver the best services. Better book with them for the best experiences and adventure in the wilderness. We had a great trip with Inspire African Safari’s. We had a great trip with Inspire African Safari’s. Richard was very helpfull to customize the plan and working through the various options, so ended up with QE park for 1 day and ishasa the other day to see the tree climbing lions (which we ended up not seeing🥲). Both Parks were great and Darius was a great driver and guide throughout the trips. We saw 5 lions (2 cubs), hundreds of antilopes, buffalo’s, vulgars, warthogs and an amazing park with stunning views. The cruise was possibly even nicer as we saw over 10 elephants, hundred of hippo’s, buffalo’s, 1 crocodile and a few mount lizards and many exotic bird spieces! Was a great experience overall! Also the bush lodge was an amazing place to stay! We had an elephant visit at our lodge and never been so close to an elephant before, while leaving him in his habitat. Food was good and service great. Overall amazing trip, well organised and led! We will cherish the memoriesThe trip was certainly one for the books! The food prepared at the lodge was outstanding (the tilapia I had for lunch was the best I had in Uganda). Overall a wonderful experience. Uganda is indeed very beautiful, at first I wasn’t sure where I would spend a 2 days weekend and I enjoy, it was magical for the adventures I have had in Queen Elizabeth Park, the lions welcomed us on the Road and we also met another pride with 4 Cubs which liked playing along us. This park is great for its vastness, I can’t imagine saw all Africa’s Big Four here and super close, the channel had thousands of hippos wow ooh Uganda. Yes go to Uganda and I recommend this agency for they value money. This was an amazing trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This was an amazing trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It's a long drive to get there from Kampala, but some fascinating scenery along the way and a great way to see the west of Uganda beyond Kampala and Entebbe. The Kazinga Channel cruise was excellent. The guide (whose name escapes me) was full of knowledge and interesting facts about all the wildlife we saw, not just the more well known animals. It certainly surpassed my expectations in terms of the depth and breadth of the wildlife. We encountered elephants even on our way down to get on the boat for the cruise! The Channel cruise is, I suspect, a unique aspect of this particular area of Uganda? I stayed at Engiri Game Lodge and couldn't have asked for more. COVID protocols were well supported by the staff, with hand sanitiser proffered every time we arrived/returned to the Lodge. Staff were super efficient and friendly. Food was from a set menu, but very tasty and lots of it. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Wi-fi is available in main building, but not in the accomodation facilities. The game drive on the second day was also terrific! There was a group of six of us in an open safari vehicle which provided an excellent viewing platform. This was my first African safari, so I don't have a frame of reference to compare this one to, but there was plenty to look at all the time and I was not disappointed. Many deer and antelope of varying species, plenty of buffalo and hippos and a few elephants. We saw a hyena and a lion, but no lionesses. We did however, see a leopard moving across the open grassland, being shepherded by a group of large deer. I understand the leopards are not always easy to find, so this was something of a highlight. The Kazinga Channel Bridge had just been closed for repairs on the morning of the 2nd day, which meant we had to return to the Lodge from the game drive and back again by ferry. This delayed the return to Kampala somewhat, but joining the locals for the ferry trips back and forth made the experience all the richer! Richard from Inspire African Safaris and his team were terrific. Communication in booking the safari was quick and easy. Pick up from the hotel was early, rather than late. Everyone from Richard himself (who joined me at Engiri Lodge and accompanied the group on the game drive on the 2nd day), to Solomon and Isaac who got me safely to QE NP and back again, Engiri Lodge staff, guides and locals in and around Katunguru, was most friendly and helpful. The whole experience was a really positive one and led me to book another trip through Inspire a few days later to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. I was not disappointed with the service, advice and experience on that trip either. Given the distance to QE NP, it lends itself to taking advantage of some of the other attractions in the area. Whether it's gorillas further south or chimpanzees on the way to QE NP, these experiences would break up the journey and add value to what is already a terrific experience at QE NP.I visited Queen Elizabeth National Park, it all killed off my stress that I had, the tour moved on smoothly. I was excited seeing climbing tree lions. It was really a great experience.
