Fantastic introduction to Dublin’s complex history from Vikings to Normans and the reformation with jokes and ghosts thrown in. Highly recommended
Fantastic introduction to Dublin’s complex history from Vikings to Normans and the reformation with jokes and ghosts thrown in. Highly recommendedThe guide talked way too much. It was more political than historical. I would have liked to have been told a little about the history of the people and less about the politics. I wasn’t a fan.

Book it! Worth evey penny! Eoin was EXCEEDINGLY knowledgeable about the subject--no mean feat, considering the subject at hand is well over 10,000 years of Irish history. Better still, he knows how to tell it to a diverse group of strangers. My wife and I were in a group of approximately 10, all couples as I recall, of roughly the same mid-sixties age and obviously in good enough shape for a 2-hr walk. Our guide kept up the pace to cover a lot of ground, physically and historically, but consistently asked for our questions/clarifications along the way. We really loved how passionate Eoin was about a history with so many varied stories.I enjoyed a fun and very informative historical walking tour in Dublin. The guided tour was led by Brian.
