After pick-up from Port you’ll fly to Delhi and driven to the bustling streets of Agra where you’ll see the Taj Mahal at sunrise and sunset. This guided tour gives you insight into Agra, a city famous for its Unesco World Heritage sites which include the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh Garden. Day 1: Fly To New Delhi & Drive To Agra
Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Pick-up at 8am from Kochi (Cochin), Mumbai, Mangalore, Chennai or Goa Port and transfer to airport to board a commercial flight to New Delhi.
Stop At: Agra, Agra, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
Met upon arrival at Delhi airport and be driven 3hrs via the express highway to the City of Taj Mahal, Agra an ancient city on the banks of the River Yamuna.
Upon arrival in Agra check in to your pre-booked hotel.

Day 2: Agra Sightseeing - Highlight Visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise & Sunset
Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
This morning (at sunrise) takes you early to the breathtaking Taj Mahal (a Unesco World Heritage Site) to avoid the crowds and heat in the daytime. Just immerse yourself in its amazing architecture, history, and beauty. The magical allure of the Taj Mahal shall definitely be the highlight of your tour.
Later back to your hotel and enjoy your breakfast.

Afternoon visit Agra Fort (a Unesco World Heritage Site) - is a historical fort along the bank of the Yamuna River in the city of Agra. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 and one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Walking through courtyard after courtyard of this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, your amazement grows as the scale of what was built here begins to sink in.

Stop At: Mehtab Bagh, Nagla Devjit Etmadpur, Agra India
Early evening proceed to a Photo Tour of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh — the moonlit garden — believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, far away from the maddening crowd, The garden complex is situated on the left bank of Yamuna opposite to TajMahal. It is a huge square measuring approximately 300x300 m and in straight alignment with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to TajMahal and its reflection in Yamuna.

Evening (at sunset) visit Taj Mahal again and you will experience the change in color and ambiance. As the sun set, it took on a warm rose hue. It is at its most magical at sunrise and sunset. There are also fewer people at these times so you can enjoy a much more intimate experience.

Everything on the tour was organized seamlessly, from pick-ups to drop-offs as well as domestic flight bookings. Our hotel accommodations included in the tour were at the stunning 5-star Jaypee Palace hotel! Our tour guide, Mahesh was extremely friendly, informative, and professional. He taught us so much about Agra and the Taj and we were able to see everything in just 2 days! We worked with Mahesh as our tour guide - a local of Agra who has endless knowledge of the area and India as a whole. He walked us through the history of the Taj and Red Fort step by step (he also knows the best angles from which to take picture so you don’t have to hire anyone). In addition, he brought us to a great lunch spot where we were treated extremely well and they had great Indian cuisine! Would highly recommend. Hari, our driver, picked us up from the Hotel and brought us to each of the sites. He was very timely, also had water for us (India is very humid), and even stopped at a few local stops to grab a quick snack on the road. Great guy!MiDuttl

Mahash was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. All along the way provided intimate details about the history and architecture of the buildings. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time through the day. Hari was our driver and made us feel safe and comfortable during our trip. We politely declined doing the shopping stops which they graciously accepted so we could focus on the sites. I would highly recommend this tour for the avid traveler.
