This safari at Mikumi was just amazing. This is my first safari, and it is a great introduction. Also, if you are short on time and a budget, Mikumi is another reason why to go there. My guide was great, he was punctual and had a lot information on the park and animals. We did see a lot of animals from hippos, elephants, and a lot of exotic birds. Unfortunately, we did not see any lion or lionesses, but that is how nature works sometime.Three days at Mikumi should be suffice though to see all the sites. The accommodation where I stayed at was very reasonable. It gave you all the necessities and most importantly mosquito netting to protect you at night. Also, the food was decent. Lastly, the staff that were managing the place were very amiable to me. Overall, I would highly suggest Mikumi for a safari because it is a great introduction. We enjoyed every second of the Safari, and every thing was very well organized. We enjoyed every second of the Safari, and every thing was very well organized. The people are punctual, professional, and kind. Special thanks go to our guide Fred, who spoke French very well, explained every thing he could about the animals we saw, and was very receptive to our requests and questions. On our second day, we started early in the morning to look for the lion (most interesting animal to see on a Safari) and we were the first ones who found him and carefully followed him as he was calmly moving forward ! The only thing we did not like that much is the food in the restautant of the Mikumi park hotel. But other than that every thing was perfect !Very good experience in Mikumi. Comfortable and safe accomodation, reasonably good food. Our guide, Santiago, was able to show us animals which are not easily seen, like a wonderful ghepard. He knew a lot about all animals and we always felt safe with him. Easy communication, good organisation.

After having a lovely relaxing week in zanzibar I travelled solo to tanzania for the safari experience. I was picked up promptly on the first day from my location in Dar es salaam by Edward in his very comfortable vehicle and we started off our journey to mikumi, stopping off for traditional breakfast on the way. My 3 days in Mikumi were just magical. It is a beautiful place. Childhood dreams came true seeing some of these spectacular animals in the wild. And the unforgettable sunsets 😍 As a female traveller on a solo trip, I was made feel very welcome and comfortable with my guides. Edward and Benson are gentlemen and took really good care of me and it felt like I was on safari with friends rather than alone. Safari partners are very professional and provide a fantastic service from pick up to drop off. They add a personal touch to the experience and want you to have the best time. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to go on safari. I was left with some amazing memories and would definitely use them again for other adventures in Tanzania.Highly recommended. Best safari guide I have experienced. Fluent in English and excellent understanding in wild life behaviour!
