Ahh! Such a great experience. Our guide Joyous was the best part of it. He was such a good, fun guide and a great driver. But overall he was a kind person, he would stop for kids, help people on the road, he was sincerely a great human! Dav safaris was great with helping customizing my tour, the communication was great, except for the day before the start that I had to contact them because no one told me who was picking us up or at what time. But besides that the service was amazing! My luggage was lost by the airline and they were in contact with them to ensure proper pick up. They went and fought the airline for us when needed. Everything was beautiful. Bwindi was the highlight of the trip, and the lodges (mid-range) they chose were incredible! A recommendation if you go is you should stay more than 3 nights because the drives were veeery long and we felt we were a lot of the time on the road, we wish we would’ve known this or that someone would let us know so we could take more advantage of our time. Locally owned company which was very important for me. Overall an amazing one of a kind experience. DO IT!One of the best things we’ve done on our whole trip around East Africa! One of the best things we’ve done on our whole trip around East Africa! Added this on last minute as we were desperate to see the Gorillas and had a week to spare. We had the best 3 days and have our guide Michael to thank for this! His knowledge and experience was shared with such enthusiasm, making the long days of driving fly by. Accomodation was basic but comfortable (as expected on budget package), both nights in beautiful locations. Food was great, never a hungry moment. Fantastic experience trying all the local cuisines. We wish we’d had longer to see more of Uganda! Thank you Michael! We had such a great time in Uganda and a lot of it was thanks to our amazing guide Joyous. We had such a great time in Uganda and a lot of it was thanks to our amazing guide Joyous. His driving was very safe and we had a great time getting to know him. He was very knowledgeable about the different areas of Uganda, and we learned so many cool things. We did the 4 day gorilla and chimp trekking and I would highly recommend seeing both primates. There was also a really good mix of culture with our tour and I loved visiting the villages and getting to know the local people. Another huge benefit of this company is that they are locally owned (that was a huge plus for me). Everything was very organized and the booking agent Reagan was also very helpful. The accommodations are also very beautiful and comfortable. 100% would recommend, thank you for the great times.A trip of a lifetime here are all the reasons why it's 100% reccomended! 1. We chose Dav-Safaris based on the reviews, and we are delighted to say it truly deserves a five-star rating. Our trip to Rwanda and Uganda was exceptional, thanks to this travel agency. Our guide, Kevin, was not only professional but also friendly. We were fortunate to witness mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and numerous other animals as per our itinerary. Moreover, when we accidentally left our wallet in Kevin's car, he promptly discovered it and immediately notified us. He went above and beyond by sending it to us through international postage to Kenya. This act of honesty and integrity truly exemplifies the trustworthiness of Dav-Safaris. As we continued our journey in Kenya, we can wholeheartedly recommend Dav-Safari travel agency to anyone seeking a reliable and outstanding travel experience.
