From the moment I reached out to Kihindo Tours for a spontaneous/last minute safari booking, I knew I’d made the right choice. Winnie was great with communication, helping me choose the right options and even recommending a great hotel in Dar es salaam in my price range for before/after the safari. She communicated over WhatsApp which made everything happen quickly and seemlessly and she has a great sense of humour! Gaston my guide was fabulous. I learned so much and he went above and beyond to ensure that I got the most out of the 2 night/3 day tour to Nyerere National Park. We had loads of laughs and he was patient answering all of my questions and teaching me swahili! The Lodge was peaceful, service and food 5 star. The boat trip and walking safari were perfect additions. Considering how many options there are for safari tours/operators, I’m so glad I chose kihindo based on the reviews. They’ve got amazing reviews for a reason. It has been a unique and unforgettable experience that will remain imprinted in our hearts for a lifetime. It has been a unique and unforgettable experience that will remain imprinted in our hearts for a lifetime. Tanzania has gifted us with unforgettable emotions through its colors, breathtaking landscapes, its people and their culture, its boundless parks, and its animals. All of this was made possible thanks to our expert and special guide, William, who made us feel at home right from the start. We spent 3 wonderful days! Always available, caring, kind, and ready to fulfill every single request, William allowed us to see and capture the most beautiful shots of the animals in the park; it was truly fantastic! Thanks to you, William, our first Safari was a magical and spectacular journey. Thank you wholeheartedly, Will, for everything, and especially for allowing us to live this beautiful experience; you will always remain in our hearts, and we hope to see you again very soon! We are happy to have found a guide and a friend like you!We felt safe and comfortable from the very first moment that William, our safari guide, picked us up at our hotel. We felt safe and comfortable from the very first moment that William, our safari guide, picked us up at our hotel. Also Isaya has been very kind in helping us before arriving in Tanzania! We booked a 3 days safari but although the shortness of trip, the tour operators made the unpossible to let us see all the animals in one game drive only! Specifically William was super friendly and helped us with everything unrelated with the tour.. we call him as a friend by now.. thank you for making our stay unforgettable! My family and I have just done a 3 day safari in Selous with Isaya. The following day we did a 12 hour jeep safari- Isaya was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife. We saw many animals - starting as soon as we entered the park. The final day we did a walking safari where we learnt all about the local tribes - the guide was v entertaining. The accommodation and meals were great too.We had an amazing time with Kihindo safaris. We did the 3 day Selous reserve Safari. Our guide Francis was very knowledgable and accommodating. We had an amazing time with Kihindo safaris. We did the 3 day Selous reserve Safari. Our guide Francis was very knowledgable and accommodating. Everything about the trip was smooth start to finish. We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken straight to the safari. One thing to note is there was no Wi-Fi or hot water showers however this added to the bush experience. The food at the camp was amazing and we did not spend any more money whilst there. I would recommend getting your tour guide to take you to the village in the evening for a drink with the local people and experience the culture there. The boat Safari on day 1 was really good and the full games drive safari on day 2 was also really good. We saw lots of animals and our guide did everything to make sure we got the most out of the day. at the end of the trip Francis took us to the ferry port and ensured we safely booked and made it on time. Overall I am really happy with this Safari tour and I would highly recommend. Our Safari has been incredible thanks to Isaya and William from Kihindo tours & safaris. Our Safari has been incredible thanks to Isaya and William from Kihindo tours & safaris. I would like to start by saying that they always been very punctual, they even arrived 1 hour before to our hotel to start the Safari and pick us up. They do whatever they can to accommodate the clients and helped us out in different situations: the airline company lost our backpacks and they brought us to do a little bit of shopping to buy some clothes and they also drove us to the airport 2 days later to pick them up. They always did the extra mile for us and they have been extremely available. They are very knowledgeable about the animals and the culture in general and they were always very happy to answer to our questions in depth. We spent a lot of time together but they have never been intrusive. We appreciated their positivity, it was great to spend the Safari together. Also the price is unbeatable and the lodge we went in Selous was great. The communication was very easy and Isaya answered to us always within 2 hours. The car was comfortable, clean and reliable and Isaya is a very good driver and he know how to drive in the parks, even with mud. This Safari has been a success and we will remember it through the rest of our lives thanks to Kihindo.
