The segways were a lot of fun once we were used to them and Manuel was a great guide. There were a few hiccups though. I was contacted as we flew into Porto to say that our booking had to be rescheduled due to 'mechanical issues'. Slightly spoiled our plans but never mind. On the tour we did experience problems with mechanical issues and one Segway ran out of battery. Manuel was hugely apologetic. We had to move from the first cafe that we were sat at at break time because he didn't have any money and we had to wait for a colleague to bring money and another Segway. Not a cheap experience so they do need to work on avoiding issues of this kind and we did miss a couple of stops that the tour would usually cover. Toilet facilities were not available at the start due to 'water problems'. Overall would recommend. Porto is hilly and Segway is a great way to travel up and down and orientate yourself. Thanks to Manuel for his enthusiasm and care.Every new city we visit we always look for Segway tours. It is an excellent way to get to know a city. Every new city we visit we always look for Segway tours. It is an excellent way to get to know a city. We had a great time in Porto, Portugal with our two adult sons who had never ridden Segways. They picked it up quickly and we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this tour and our guide was terrific. Our sons were a bit Leary when we told them we had booked this trip but they ended being surprised how much fun it was. I hope you sign up for a tour as you won't regret it.Had a great time with Fabian. He was very patient with the 7 of our group that had never been on a Segway. We all had a wonderful time and even those who were quite hesitant said they would do it again.
