Joshua was our guide and he did not disappoint. We are a family with three 20-something children. Joshua was able to engage with our whole family in a very fun way. We loved learning about the street art scene and got to see parts of the city we probably wouldn't have otherwise. Highly recommend.

I was part of a group of local Tourism staff lucky to participate in this tour a few days ago. Logan was our guide. He led us through back lanes and side streets, stopping to view and discuss the amazing murals displayed along the way. He explained about the Street Art Festival, the various artists and their work, and so much more. Along the way, we stopped for a refreshing craft beer, another opportunity to discuss the changing face of Vancouver. Thank you Toonie Tours for showing a local another aspect of our vibrant city. I encourage visitors to put on their walking shoes and join in. You will not regret it!There's a certain appeal to viewing the murals at night. There's a certain appeal to viewing the murals at night. Having said that, I think the tour would work better during the day as some of the murals are so colourful. Josh is not a native Vancouverite but he's passionate about the city and cares deeply about it and these characteristics came through on the tour, especially when he spoke about the late Holden Courage. I don't drink so I can't comment on the quality of the beer. The breweries we visited were different in size but were both cosy and friendly. My two suggestions would be: 1. Select a meeting area that's more obvious. 2. Start the tour a little earlier. You can’t miss this tour on your trip to Vancouver. Great beer, street art and a phenomenal tour guide. Highly, highly recommend!
