We really enjoyed our Tour with our guide Carlos and our group. First, we went to the hanging bridges where we could admire a lot of the flora and fauna of Costa Rica, thanks to "Eagle eye Carlos" 😉 We saw white-faced monkeys, frogs, vipers, bats, snakes, sloths and tucans - we were very lucky! And Carlos took a lot of pictures for us through his long glass, so we got some really nice shots! Then our driver surprised us with some delicious pineapple to refill our energy. The next part was the waterfall. There, you had the possibility to take a refreshing swim after the hike in the clear water. Then it was time for dinner, jippie! We were served a traditional costa rican Casado (rice, beans, plantains, salad, tortilla and meat/fish/vegetables) and rice pudding for dessert. Because it was cooked in the fire, it was very authentic and delicious! The final part was the lava hike in front of the volcano. It was rather short but still worth it. You could see the volcano at its whole beauty and we got a lot of information about it and the vegetation around it. To sum up, it was a very amazing experience and we would recommend that to everyone who is going to La Fortuna!exceeded all expectation. Family run company. They serve lunch at their own compound. Give, Minor, was excellent with great local knowledge, patience and great services.
