3Day Private Tour: Petra Mount Nebo & Al Karak Castle Wadi Rum Red and Dead Seas
Overview
This is a 3-day private tour for 1-7 Persons to Mount Nebo, Al-Karak Castle, Petra and little Petra, Wadi Rum, Gulf of Aqaba on the Red sea (Skipped during winter time - Nov to March) and the Dead Sea. Start first day from Amman, toward Madaba and visiting of Mount Nebo , then passing through the Kings Way toward Petra. Stop at the second largest castle on the middle east - Al-Karak castle passing through Wadi Al Mujib , move afterward and visit Little Petra, and drop off at your hotel in Wadi Mousa city. Starting next day early Petra site visit till 4pm (in the winter 2pm) this time is sufficient for exploring most of the city. Moving afterwards to Wadi Rum and spend the night, explore the valley by a Safari Jeep tour for 2 hours. The final day move to Aqaba and to then to the Dead Sea through the Rift Valley highway.

Day 2: Petra and Wadi Rum

7:00am: Hotel pickup and Petra Tour . 4:00pm: Moving toward Wadi Rum (Winter time 2:00pm). 6:00pm: Arriving to Rum and Moving toward the Bedouin campsite inside Rum Valley (12 Km from Rum Village) 6:30pm: Enjoying the Sunset activity at one of the sunset sites time differ Summer/Winter. 7:30pm: Dinner (Bedouin Zarb chicken, grilled vegetables and salads) 11:00pm: Sleeping at the camp

Day 3: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

10:00am: Moving toward Gulf of Aqaba. 2:00pm: Moving toward Dead Sea and enjoying the beach and floating at Dead Sea area. At6:00pm: Leaving back to Amman 7:00pm: Home/Hotel drop off (Time might differ a little because day light is shorter in winter time)

We had the most amazing 3 day private tour of Jordan. What a fabulous country. Spectacular landscapes and such friendly, welcoming people. Our personal driver Ahmed was considerate, charming and informative. He picked us up promptly from our hotel in Amman and after that our feet didn't touch the ground for a further 3 days! As we drove out of Amman, Ahmed introduced himself and encouraged us to do the same and we spent a pleasant hour or two on our way to our first stop getting to know one another. Ahmed imparted history and local knowledge in a very considerate and interesting way. We learnt a little bit each day about the history, culture and geography of the country as we travelled. For example stopping for lunch in Madaba and Aqaba, where we ate typical Jordanian food with the locals was a real treat. In Petra itself, just one of the many tour highlights, Ahmed arranged an official local guide for us, which really added to the whole experience. Ahmed's consideration for our comfort and well-being and ensuring that we got absolutly the best experience of Jordan and Petra in particular, that we could get in just this short time was fantastic and very much appreciated. Another highlight of the trip was the excursion to Wadi Rum and the stay in the Bedouin camp in the desert. An experience we will never forget. The dunes, the wild camels, the stars and the Bedouin camp were an experience like no other. The following day we set off to Aqaba and the Dead Sea for yet another amazing experience. Nothing can prepare you for the extremely odd sensation of floating in the Dead Sea! Read a newspaper whilst floating? Had to be done! An added bonus was the many candid photos, that our driver took of us, taken at the sites whilst we were unaware, which have supplemented our many photos as they capture us both together, a lovely, thoughtful addition to our gallery. The tour was well organised, the overnight accomodation was comfortable and our driver courteous, considerate and very knowledgeable. This was an amazing experience which exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jordan Private Tours.Penny G

Four of us (my husband and I, plus our daughter and her boyfriend) took this tour, with driver and guide Qutaiba. It was perfect in every way and we enjoyed absolutely every minute of it. Qutaiba was wonderful - knowledgeable about all the different locations and sights, full of good advice, and a pleasure to spend the time with. We would all recommend using this company, and guide if he is available, without any hesitation. There was so much in the three days that we were able to do and see and wonderful memories and photos for the future. Everything was different with its own features. We loved Petra of course - got to the entrance around 6:45am to find almost nobody there - walking down through this site in the relative cool and without many people is really special and we'd highly recommend this early start if you can do it. We spent 6 hours walking around the area, including the back way to the High Point; you need to be reasonably fit to do some of these walks but they are well worth the effort, it seems like there are amazing new features around every corner. Wadi Rum and the desert were astonishing, a taste of a totally different way of life in an incredibly demanding environment. We could go on at (more) length about this and the many other sights on this trip, but suffice to stay that if you want to experience something of Jordan and the depth and variety of its extraordinary history and wonderful people in three days, take this tour, you will be as thankful for the experience as us.BrancaLeon80

This was an excellent tour. The driver - Ahmed Habibi Ali was excellent and really looked after me very well. He was always exactly on time for all meetings and he really went the extra mile to look after me. Jordan must rate as one of the best counties I have visited (and I have visited quite a few). The people are very friendly and helpful and the scenery is stunning. I went mainly for Petra - which was a total highlight - but every single place I visited was amazing. I particularly enjoyed the stay in Wadi Rum. Just a word of advise - check the weather conditions before you leave. I was totally unprepared for just how cold it was. An excellent trip and highly recommended.jilln260

Our friends booked this trip for us and them, and we were skeptical at first because we prefer to travel independently. But Ahmad, our tour guy, made this tour an unforgettable experience for us! I felt like I was traveling with an old friend. He showed us Jordan through his eyes, made us feel safe, and gave us tips to make the most of this experience. He knew how to beat the crowds, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum. The amount of time spent at each place was just right. We were never bored or too tired. I highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing Jordan with a local, to anyone who loves photography (Ahmad knows how to get the best photos), and to anyone who loves adventure! We had the best time and feel so blessed to have had Ahmad with us! This was the trip of a lifetime!
