My trip to Zhangjiajie was incredible, I was fortunate to have Jason as my tour guide and he was a big part of my positive experience. Jason has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Zhangjiajie as well as local and national traditions. He himself is from an ethnic minority group called Tujia and I learnt about the culture l. He was able to answer all my questions and he speaks fantastic English and was always timely, positive, courteous and times very funny! Zhangjiajie is a wonderful place and I had a great time seeing the sights and wish I could have spent more time here, I have been travelling for about 7 months and the Avatar and Tianmen mountains were the best natural sights I have seen absolutelyspectacular! Some of the sights I saw made it clear where the inspiration for Chinese watercolour paintings come from. The food was incredible, I was recommended to see a show about the different ethnic groups in the region and it did not disappoint thankful for Jason for making the suggestion. Jason is skilled in making people feel comfortable and I consider him a friend after spending these past days with him! I very much enjoyed this package and these few days will be ingrained in my memory for a very long time! I hope to return to Zhangjiajie in future 🙏 PS. The weather was beautiful and mystical at times and I was lucky to have missed any heavy rains although I believe that would have added to the experience 😊It was a quick and last-moment decision to join this tour, but looking back it was a very good call. It was a quick and last-moment decision to join this tour, but looking back it was a very good call. We stayed at the Pullman Hotel which was a very good experience with good amenities. Our tour guide was Jason, a native Tujia, who kept the 5 of us engaged with the local culture, stories, and lives of Tujia people connected to every place we visited. He arrived at the hotel on time and he kept up with the time and saw that we got through all the tickets with the least waiting time. He gave us ample freedom to explore while also keeping us together and moving! The natural beauty was beyond what could be captured in the lens. The rain did add to the beauty and made us walk with caution. All places in the various scenic places are well connected with lots of buses. I would suggest people avoid visiting this place during any Chinese national holidays. Also, suggest carrying a raincoat, umbrella, and shoe cover(you can buy a cheap one from the hotel or local shops)I had an excellent time at Zhangjiajie last week. I had an excellent time at Zhangjiajie last week. The weather was good and scenery was beautiful. Was surprised that Venus, the agency boss was at the airport to welcome me. My guide, Esther was friendly and knowledgeable. As I am an avid hiker, she was able to keep pace with the daily walks. She was able to attend to my last minute request to visit places not in the itinerary. I was also fortunate to watch the wingsuit competition held at Mt. Tianmen. Strongly recommend the agency and the company of Esther as my guide.wonderful package, a bit expensive but they will offer discounts, and everything was 5*.
