Day 1 in Addo was an incredible experience, lots of elephants to see alongside many other animals, springbok, warthogs, zebras, kudu and even a little dung beetle! Day 2 off to Mountain Zebra National Park to visit a different type of zebra and the opportunity to track cheetah. Next stop the quirky town of Neu Bethesda and finally the magnificent Valley of Desolation. A great variety covering a big area! Huge thanks to the organiser Leigh, so very helpful and available! I have to say that Jonathan who reviewed Afroventures on March 8th said exactly what I wanted to say - every word he wrote about his trip matched ours spot on! I will only emphasize that the personal interactions with our amazing guide - and amazing person - John and the 2 young German women we had with us on our 1st day (Addo) and the Belgium and American women we had with us for the next 3 days were fantastic! Great lodging, great food, great company, great animal sightings, great learning about the history of the places we went to - all in all, I really can't recommend this company and they experiences we had with them enough! Our tip for future travelers is not to miss this experience. Our tip for future travelers is not to miss this experience. Afroventures provided an outstanding safari and tour of some of the most fascinating game parks and reserves in the South-east part of South Africa. John, our guide was incredibly professional, a brilliant game spotter, and generally a pleasure to have as a guide, who became our friend. Our lodgings on the trip were the finest one could expect with detail and decor simply excellent. All meals were taken care of and we were short of nothing. This is an experience second to none and we recommned the company, Leigh the proprietor, and John our guide as clearly amongst the finest in the land. In addition, it should be added that the vehicle was comfortable, yet professional for both rough terrrain, and the longer road drives.Mountain Zebra was beautiful, we saw a cheetah up close and had a lot of fun. The valley of desolation was breathtaking, and our guide gave us lots of time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. It was a very nice trip, would definitly recommend!

The Addo Elephant Park was a great experience, especially the cheetah tracking in the morning. The whole tour was very impressive and we got to see so many different wild animals. The best one was definitely the cheetah. I was not expecting to see it so close to us. The tour guide tried to track the cheetahs and when he found the location of one, we were allowed to go out of the car and walk as near as possible to the cheetah. I can really recommend the Addo Elephant Park. We enjoyed the accommodation in the wilderness a lot, as well as the safari tour.
