Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Airport for drop off
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania

Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Just arrived back from the most incredible safari experience. We are backpacking and hadn’t pre booked anything, yet we managed to book last minute through our hostel with Suricata. We were told there was a group we could join in 2 days time so it was perfect for us. Everything was extremely well planned and thought out, from the pre safari briefing from Ali, to the camping arrangements, to the food- it was all brilliant. Rocky was our extremely friendly, fun and knowledgable guide. Despite it being low season we were still able to see 5 of the Big 5 - thank you Rocky for being so so fantastic! The food was more than what we could have hoped for and more. Everyone’s needs were catered for and it was always so delicious and filling. Thank you Tito! We felt extremely safe whilst camping, the equipment was all included and set up for us. I really would recommend a camping safari because it’s an experience like no other. When we arrived back, Ali met us once more to ask how it all went and to get our feedback, I think this is such a nice personal touch and we felt really looked after. My sister and I cannot fault Suricata, everything was simply perfect and have made memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
