The communication with George and Millicent, owners of Right Choice Tours and Safaris, was excellent with quick turn around from the beginning. They were quick to give suggestions but also allowed us to customize our trip to the Mara and Lake Nakuru. With fifteen people in our family, ages 11 to 73, we had the trip of a lifetime. Three fabulous guides, Tom, SK, and Moses, met us at NBO and became part of our family for 4 days. They showed us Kenya, the back roads in the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru with 6 intense game drives that allowed us to view most of the wild in these reserves. We saw 4 of the Big Five, and the leopard had been spotted the day before. The accommodations, food, and service were excellent at Keekarok Lodge in the Mara and Sopa Lodge at Lake Nakuru. At our request we were taken to a Maasai Village near the Maasai Mara. This was a cultural and educational highlight for our family. A cake and song and dance to celebrate my husband’s and my 50th Wedding Anniversary was awaiting us at Sopa Lodge-a pleasant surprise. We could ask for nothing greater than what we experienced with Right Choice. Thanks George and Millicent, Moses, SK, and Tom.verview Reviews Profile Reviews Average User Rating 4.7/5 Rating Breakdown 5 star 81 4 star 22 3 star 2 2 star 2 1 star 0 Write a Review Sort By: Date Most Helpful Rating 1-10 of 107 Reviews Rahul Choudhury – India IN Visited: December 2019 Reviewed: Jan 3, 2020 Email Rahul Choudhur...

I had specifically asked for an experienced and patient guide as I was touring with family, (3 generations - grandad,grandmom-son- grandson) and it was our good fortune that Ken was available to take us on our safari. Just like Millicent, I would give 5 stars for Ken as he fulfilled our sighting wishlist in toto and worked hard for all of the 4+ days that we were with him.. the vehicle was clean every morning, he was always ready on time, he made the effort to find out where the animals were on the day, placing his vehicle at the best picture taking spot and was driving his landcruiser smoothly on the highway.. Ken is reliable, friendly, helpful and knows his work and his vehicle very well. You can make no mistake with Ken by your side... A couple of tips from my perspective: one should always opt for the landcruiser vehicle during safari and if given an option definitely stay for a minimum of 2 nights at Sopa Lodge, Lake Naivasha, its a beautiful property and 1 day is just too short as you merely touch and go onroute to Nairobi.. Hells Gate may be a small park but its a slice of paradise just like all the other natural abodes that Kenya has. with Right Choice you cant go wrong, Thank you Ken, Millicent and George Was this review helpful? We just got back from the most beautiful, amazing, wonderful trip to the Maasai Mara!! My parents took our whole family (youngest grandkid being 11 and oldest grandkid being 22). From the beginning all the way through the end, the guides felt like a part of our family. We were privileged to have SK, Moses and Tom guiding us through this gorgeous terrain of Kenya. One of my favorite things was that they were always on the search for the animals we hadn’t seen. They would build the suspense and would tell us, “Let’s go see something!” And would take off and get us to each spot. They were very knowledgeable and taught us so much!! We have some strong personalities in our family but they handled us well. We were safe at all times and couldn’t have imagine having any better guides. Staying at Keekerok is a must to see a perfect safari lodge! It’s within the Maasai Mara with no gate to keep any of the animals out. We also stayed at Sopa Lodge Lake Nakuru which was gorgeous! Food, accommodations, everything was just amazing. Couldn’t have had a better trip to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. A group of us went to 2 lodge reserves in Kenya with Right Choice Safaris at the end of October. From the get go George was super helpful and was able to customise the itinerary as per our requirements. The arrangements were made promptly and we did not have to worry about any further planning. Ken was driving us through the entire trip and on game drives. He's super engaging and fun to drive with. He comes with a lot of knowledge of local wildlife and fauna and ensured we had the best time during those 4-5 days traveling with him. If you choose Right Choice, would highly recommend Ken as a driver during the Safari.
