Meet us near Katakolon port and tour will start with first stop Olympia. It will take around 30 mins to get from the port to Olympia.

All unique artifacts will be seen there plus the famous statue of Hermes Praxiteles.

Explore the Olympia site and museum.The visit to Olympia site and museum takes approximately 2 hours where you will get familiarized with the history of ancient Olympia and the magnificent of the olympic games heritage. You will also have the chance to walk to the Olympia stadium and see the Zeus temple along with all museum artifacts that witness the magnificent Olympia history and culture.Exploration within Olympia site will be on your own (Guidebook is available - Licensed guide within Olympia is not included and is available, with additional fee, upon request from the customer)

The visit to the winery contains wine tasting and treat with traditional vegetable snacks and small portions of cooked meal. The visit will last 30 minutes.

Next stop is the Saint Andrew beach. The beach is located near the port of Katakolon. Nice place to have photos and coffee and enjoy the best sea view of the area.

We had such a great time on our tour. Our driver was prompt and we got going right away. Avoided crowds and beat the tour buses. Nicholi was great and told us all about the island. He took us to the Olympia and made sure we had our tickets and new exactly where to go. Then off to the winer...
We had such a great time on our tour. Our driver was prompt and we got going right away. Avoided crowds and beat the tour buses. Nicholi was great and told us all about the island. He took us to the Olympia and made sure we had our tickets and new exactly where to go. Then off to the winery again making sure we were settled and waited for us to complete our visit. Lastly we headed to the beach where we could sit and relax with a drink. He dropped us off in town for some shopping and we were bock on board the ship in plenty of time. Perfect day!!!The driver was friendly, informative and very willing to accommodate your needs. He gave great advice to have a good experience.

Theodore took wonderful care of us!! He recommended seeing the ancient city for an hour and then taking an hour to experience the museum! Perfect timing! He took us to a quaint & personal winery where we heard their history and ate The Most Delicious lunch along with their amazing wines! A toe dip in the Ionian sea before shopping within walking distance to the ship! The only suggestion might be a bigger vehicle as it was cozy.This was our only private tour out of 7 ports on our Greek cruise out of Rome. Our group of friends (8 of us total) requested this tour because our cruise line did not provide any tours for us to choose from at this port (Katakolon) which ended up being a blessing in disguise. This was our only private tour out of 7 ports on our Greek cruise out of Rome. Our group of friends (8 of us total) requested this tour because our cruise line did not provide any tours for us to choose from at this port (Katakolon) which ended up being a blessing in disguise. It was fantastic to have our own mini-van for just the 8 of us. The tour company was very communicative with all of my questions prior to our trip, and they were on time and specific where to meet on the port on the day of the tour. Fantastic communication which was a concern for me because we were touring a foreign country in which none of us knew the language. We were able to spend a little more time shopping in Olympia which is what we asked for because all of our other tours prior to this never allowed enough time for shopping. More time at the beach would have been nice, but we did ask for more time shopping so that was expected. Fantastic tour all around. It was probably the best tour we had on our trip; maybe because it was just for the 8 of us and we didn't waste any time waiting for slow people we didn't know.
