The tour route is pretty much all flat so easy to ride. We rode mainly on sidewalks so not to be so worried about traffic or sharing the road with cars/mopeds. The tour comes with breakfast where we at a typical Taiwanese breakfast at a small eatery. The food was amazing and glad I got to try it as I couldn't find it elsewhere and I didn't know the Mandarin word to try to order it again. Also, we made it to the Memorial Hall in time to see the changing of the guards. I twas a nice morning tour that gives tons of time for the rest of the day to do other things.Although it is hard to believe these days, bicycles once ruled the roads in Taipei. Whether you're in Taipei for one day, one week or one month do this tour to get an overview, a feel and some history of the city; well worth doing. During the summer heat & humidity the 4 hour morning tour is probably sufficient but during cooler weather the full day tour might be better. Alex, the tour guide, has enthusiasm & knowledge about the city & Chinese history but a relaxed manner. Remember to bring sunscreen or a sun hat, I didn't and suffered slight sunburn. Well recommended.Very worthwhile. Bicycles easy to ride and well maintained. Interesting sights, good commentary, friendly guides.

What a fun experience! Loved getting to see Taipei by bicycle and our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions throughout the tour. Loved getting to try the traditional breakfast foods – the stuffed rice ball was my favorite! Alex and his business partner also got traditional Taiwanese pineapple cakes for us to try at the end to celebrate a couple of birthdays in our group, so that was a treat as well. Would recommend to anyone!
