Day 1: Arrival In Bujumbura
Stop At: Livingstone-Stanley Monument, Mugere, Bujumbura Burundi
Arrival in Bujumbura, transfer to Safari Gate Hotel for overnight. On arrival, enjoy a city tour: •Belvedere Climb offering a nice view of Bujumbura city; •Independence hero monument; •Musee Vivant, the Snake & Culture Museum; • Explorers Memorial, a huge rock in the Suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating the meeting between explorers Stanley and Livingstone; •Sion Market/ Village market to get an idea of how our markets look like (optional).

Day 2: Mount Heha And Source Of Nile
Stop At: Rusizi National Park, Gihanga, Bujumbura Burundi
At 8:00, pick up at the Hotel and transfer to Rusizi NP for a boat trip to explore closer the hippos and birds in the Rusizi river then drive to Mount Heha, Burundi's highest mountain. Afterward, continue to the source of the Nile and drive back to Bujumbura for an overnight at your Safari Gate Hotel

Day 3: Kiganda Royal Grounds And Gishora Drum Sanctuary
Stop At: Gishora Drum Sanctuary, Rn 15 Gishora, Gitega Burundi
After breakfast, transfer to Kiganda royal grounds, one of the historical sanctuaries containing all details about signing the Treaty between Germans and King Mwezi Gisabo who was the traditional ruler during that colonial era. After, drive to Gishora drum sanctuary for a cultural experience and drum performance before driving back to Bujumbura. Overnight at Safari Gate Hotel.

Day 4: Inangurire Caves And Teza Tea Plantations
Stop At: Kibira National Park, 2G22+225, Busiga, Burundi
At 8:00 A.M, pick up at the hotel and transfer to Kibira National Park to visit the “Grottes Inangurire”. Located near the summit of Mount Teza, the 2 caves are around 20m apart and one below the other. Continue the visit at Teza tea plantations. The magnificent landscapes will make you carry your camera ready for pictures. Return to Bujumbura and drop off at your Hotel.

Day 5: Bujumbura City Tour-Departure
Stop At: Bujumbura City Market, J9P5+5MP, Avenue de l'OUA, Bujumbura, Burundi
After breakfast: Visit of ARFIC, the coffee processing factory in Bujumbura. Coffee and tea are the main export products and source of income for Burundi. During your visit, you will go through the coffee processing steps until the final product. A cup of coffee will be offered on the spot and you can buy coffee right from there. • After ARFIC visit, drive around the city to the handcraft’s village “Chez Natalie” to buy some souvenirs for friends. • Your guide can also improvise on any visit around the city, he is flexible and can always inspire you on new things to do. • After lunch transfer to the airport.

La nature burundaise est très impressionnant du fait qu'il n'y a pas du désert. Donc c'est un pays qui connait des plaines, des plateaux et des hautes montagnes sont tous couverts des arbres. Bref, il y a la nature très belle avec des lacs aux oiseaux se trouvant au Nord, la source du fleuve Nil,...
La nature burundaise est très impressionnant du fait qu'il n'y a pas du désert. Donc c'est un pays qui connait des plaines, des plateaux et des hautes montagnes sont tous couverts des arbres. Bref, il y a la nature très belle avec des lacs aux oiseaux se trouvant au Nord, la source du fleuve Nil,.... La culture burundaise est aussi très excellente du fait que les danses traditionnelles (umudeyo, amayaya, urwedengwe, agasimbo, umuyebe, ...) et les tambourinaires reconnues comme le patrimoine de l'UNESCO. Il y a des sites/milieux touristiques, les bons plages, l'amour et le respect mutuel entre la population burundaise.
