I just got back from my 5-day 4-night safari with Bestdays. Everything was amazing—we saw the Big 5, several kills, and lots of babies! My guide Idrisa was very knowledgeable and good company throughout the trip. I opted not to do camping tents since I had just been camping at Kilimanjaro for a week, and instead stayed in lodges and luxury tents during my stay. I thought all the accommodations and meals were great and I can't wait to come back again! We had a great experience on our 6 day/5 nights safari with bestday safari. Our guide Jackson was awesome and very knowledgable and we were just amazed by everything we saw especially the part in Serengeti. If you want to go for a shorter option don’t miss Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater.

I just completed my 5 day northern Tanzania Safari today, and it was incredible!. I booked via Mohji Travel, who in turn booked me on local operator; Best Day Safaris. Both Mohji and Best Day were excellent! Mohji handled the booking and scheduling smoothly, plus met me at my hotel the day prior to setting out, to give me a 1-on-1 full briefing which didn't just include a review of the 5 day itinerary, but also a review of my packing/gear, and tips on what colours to avoid wearing, to avoid Zhetzy flies! (Note: avoid blues and blacks!). The actual safari itself was incredible. Though i was a single traveller, I joined a fun group of three others and had a great time! Best Day are seasoned operators and they properly know their stuff. Every detail, every meal, and every day was planned well. Our guide/driver, Sixxy, had years of experience in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tangerie, and Lake Manyara. He knew where to spot the animals and what times of day/conditions you would most likely find them in. He was so good with his behavioural knowledge of lions that when we came upon a male and a female on the first day in the Serengeti, he knew to drive on the other road (where all the other operators/trucks were NOT going) because he knew we'd get a far closer and better view of the beautiful male lion, from that point. It completely made my day, to get so close! On day #3 we also got so close to a family oylf elephants that we could see deep into their eyes when they looked our way. Sixxy, and our chef Emmanuel provided for everything we needed, and Emmanuel's meals were inventive and filling, giving us enough energy for every day's animal spotting! We saw so many animals it was hard to believe - including lions rhinos elephants leopard baboons verver-monkeys ostriches hippos and too many more to name here. I would recommend Big Day Safaris and Mohji to anyone who wants an experienced, thorough, and great value Safari in Northern Tanzania.Hello! Hello! I’ve just recently finished 5 days and 4 nights with BESTDAY safari, our guide Dullah (Dula) was an amazing ! He really knew everything about the animals and birds, we not only saw the animals but got to known their habits and environment. All our questions were answered. Also as it’s short rainy season there’s loads of mud, but because he is so skilled we did not get stuck in the mud.The tents are comfortable and nice, first and last day at Panorama campsite we got mini house with a bed, so that was good rest. It’s all a very good experience, we got lucky so many times seeing all animals very close! And in their natural way of life ❤️🇹🇿 Each park has it’s own special animals or environments so would recommend really to spend more days and discover more of Tanzania. However if you can’t definitely do Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater! Thanks again!!My three friends and I went on a 5 days/4 night midrange safari with Best Days Safaris, which included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We had such an amazing time! My three friends and I went on a 5 days/4 night midrange safari with Best Days Safaris, which included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We had such an amazing time! Our driver/guide was called Six, and he had been a safari guide for many years. He was a fantastic guide, and he was so friendly. He could spot animals from great distances, and he had so much knowledge of the animals and their environment. He knew exactly where to find all the animals that we wanted to see, including leopard and rhino. We’re so happy to have him as our guide! During our safari we stayed two nights in Eileen’s Tree Lodge, which was a really nice place with a beautiful garden and great food. We also stayed two nights in Tukaone tented camps in the Serengeti, and that was our favourite part. Such a friendly and welcoming staff, that saw to our every need. The tents we slept in were huge, and were equipped with both toilet and shower. It was such a wonderful experience sleeping in the bush, listening to the lions roaring in the distance. Peter in the office was so helpful in advance of our trip, and he answered any question we had and gave us all the information we needed. We were in good hands! Also Steve and David from the main office are so nice and friendly, as they assisted us before and after the safari. I would highly recommend Best Day Safaris! They are so professional, helpful and knowledgable. You’ll have the best time!If you have an opportunity to visit Tanzania, go...and book through Best Day Safari and request Joseph. If you have an opportunity to visit Tanzania, go...and book through Best Day Safari and request Joseph. The overall experience, from booking to dropping us off at the airport, was nothing short of excellent. Both Peter and Joseph were able to accommodate any request (**reasonable**) we asked and played a big part in making this trip unforgettable. There were lots of laughs, animal sightings so close you could touch them (I recommend you don't), and never once did we get stuck in the mud. Joseph was an excellent driver and guide - he made our trip extra special.
