Had a great 8 day family adventure in Sri Lanka with BH Lanka Tours. The company were very thorough - all the paperwork was very easy and the logistics of the trip were all taken care of. Most of the accommodation, meals and activities were included in the cost of the package (apart from Sigiriya, the elephant safari and the whale watching) which meant we could just relax and enjoy the trip. Our guide Nishantha was excellent - made us very comfortable and did his best to make sure we saw all the important sights. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend the package, company and guide to our friends. Thank you, VeeAmazing country with amazing people. Definitely worth visiting. We had the pleasure of having Bhathiya as our tour guide for the week we were in Beautiful Sri Lanka. From the moment we met him he was warm and welcoming! His wife made a delicious welcome cake for us that Bhathiya gave to us upon meeting! He was very knowledgeable on Sri Lanka’s history and he showed so much passion for his culture. He taught us several Sri Lankan phrases and by the end of the tour, we were fluent in many every day phrases. Bhathiya was very accommodating and he tailored our tour to our needs and preferences. He showed compassion and he made himself available. He kept us informed on the day’s schedule Bhathiya wasn’t just our tour guide, in 7 days, he became our FRIEND. We developed the type of friendship that will last a lifetime. We don’t think our experience would’ve been as fantastic without him and we’re grateful for BH Lanka tours for matching us with Bhathiya. We highly recommend these services. The tours are well planned and executed. We left feeling that we got more than our monies worth, the monetary value of the tour exceeded our expectations!! This was our 1st time in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back again, thanks to Bhathiya, and the warm and welcoming people of Sri Lanka! Was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Sri Lanka having not known too much about the country before I booked. The hotels booked by the tour operator were all excellent. We booked the private tour and have not regretted this decision. So there were two of us as a couple alone with our driver/guide and traveled comfortably in a passenger car. Our driver/guide named Buddhika always brought us safely to the destination of the day and gave us a lot of information about the country, people, wildlife, economy, history and the current political situation. His English was excellent and we had no problems talking with him. We also laughed a lot with him and had a very good time. He was always on time and always concerned about our safety. The itinerary was very suitable for getting a good overview of Sri Lanka in a short time. We can recommend the round trip to everyone without restriction, especially to those who also like to discover new things and love the uncomplicated interaction with the people. We would book this trip again! Many thanks to Buddhika and BH Lanka Tours.- I booked very last minute for this trip but the communication by BH Lanka was absolutely superb.
