A Day in Amish Country
Overview
Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where you’ll hear about the beginnings of Amish culture in the United States and see farmers hard at work in their fields.
Your local guide will fully immerse you in the way of life here with a visit to an 1800s farmhouse, and your included admission to the Amish Village Museum will give you a deeper appreciation for the traditions and philosophies of the Amish communities.
We’ll have time for stops in small towns highlighting Amish-made goods, including quilt shops, bakeries, and road-side stands. Best yet, you’ll have the chance to support the community with your food purchases, with unique options recommended by your guide!

We went on the Amish Tour with Tom and Alex and had an amazing time! Tom, our tour guide, was a gentleman, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to approach and talk to, and made sure to accomodate for our needs, letting us stop for souvenirs, food, using the restroom etc. The tour itself was really insightful, and the comfortable drive let us see lots of different parts of Amish life and Lancaster! The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in the US, and we would be more than happy to recommend this to anyone! 😃James was great. Started at 9am and ended back at the drop off point just before 5. Was an excellent day out in a comfortable ride. Highly recommended.

It’s peaceful and kind of reminds me that sometimes life can slow down a bit, be a little more intentional and live for what’s more important. James our guide gives great service and very knowledgeable.
