We were a family of 4 (2 teenage sons). Cecile and her husband picked us up in Nice and we drove to Monaco, Monte Carlo and on to Ez. Cecile was very informative. She knew where to stop along the way to get great pictures and was sure to offer lots of info about the Grand Prix course to our teenage sons. If we had not gone with her we would have missed going into the casino. It was closed and nobody was inside. Cecile knew however that we could go in just to view. Of course there was a price, but we had the place to ourselves! Going with a tour guide like Cecile is the way to go. You will be sure to see and hear things that the average tourist misses out on. We would not hesitate to recommend Cecile! We toured Eze, Monte Carlo, old town Monaco and St Paul de Vence with CC. These were sites we chose - CC CC she accommodated our choices and time frame. She is efficient and incredibly knowledgeable and personable. It was a fantastic way to visit the area.

I had the pleasure of touring with Cecile "CC" while in Monte-Carlo, Monaco in April. The tour was fantastic! She picked us (3 travelers) up at our hotel in a comfortable van, right on time! She gave us a wonderful history lesson as we drove up the coast to Nice, France, we stopped at all of the prime photo locations, and she answered all of our questions. After Nice, we went to the Fragonard perfumery and took a short tour. We also were able to visit the village of Eze. CC was a wonderful tour host, was a safe driver, and made us feel comfortable for our entire afternoon with her. I highly recommend that you book your tour with Art and Tours! We had several daily tours of the French Riviera with Cecile and also a day trip to Italy. We had several daily tours of the French Riviera with Cecile and also a day trip to Italy. Cecile was very prompt everyday as she picked us up from our villa. She was so pleasant and very knowledgeable of all the places we visited. She customized our tours and made them unique to us. Cecile is an excellent driver and we felt extremely safe as we arrived at our destinations. We enjoyed the fact that she gave us enough history of the places and allowed us to decide if we wanted to continue on more detailed tours or if we wanted to explore on our own. We visited Monaco and Monte Carlo. Cecile made reservations for us for lunch on the beach in Monte Carlo. It was entertaining watching all of the activities at the beach while enjoying our lunches. Another day, we visited the medieval perched village of Eze. Cecile showed us where to find the best views. That same day, we also visited Nice and also Old Town Nice. We shopped along the antique flea market and had a great lunch right there enjoying all the activity of the market. Cecile took part of our group on a mini-tour and then joined us at the best little shop with authentic French macarons (Angea Les Macarons on Rue Barralis. This place is a MUST!! Beautiful macarons, wonderful coffee and great gifts to bring back home. We then drove up to Le Chateau where we saw amazing views of the sea and saw ancient ruins of the castle and a beautiful waterfalls cascading down. Our last tour was driving to Italy with Cecile. We stopped in the town of Ventimiglia where Cecile brought us to the open-air market with handmade clothing, leather goods, produce, fresh fish, Italian food specialties, wine, housewares and flowers. Very worthwhile visiting there! We then ended our day visiting the village of Dolceaqua which was very quaint and charming. We attended a wine tasting on the piazza and then walked up to the top of the hill in the village to see the view below. Cecile also arranged a lunch for us at a restaurant right on the Piazza next to a church. What a fine meal it was with our group of twelve! Cecile is super friendly and has interesting facts to share. She speaks English very well and it was no effort communicating through phone calls, emails and texts even before we arrived to France. I would highly recommend hiring Cecile and Art & Tours if you are going to southern France!!!! It was great getting to know Cecile, visiting cities and landmarks and enjoying the southern French way of life! We arrived in Monte Carlo by cruise ship and were met at the port by Cecile from Arts and Tours. She escorted us to a very comfortable mini van for 6 . The tour began in Monaco where CC covered al of the main atractions and we were grateful that she took us there early in the morning as we avoided the crowds . It was so much more peaceful and informal than being with a large tour group. From there she drove the circuit of the Formula One Grand Prix ( at a slow speed) and gave us a history of Monte Carlo, drove past the famous Casino ( we opted not to go in). We continued on to Nice, a charming city and had a little time to browse through the famous open air market. Then we went to Eze, a medieval hilltop village high above the French Riviera with breathtaking views.....not to be missed! CC was very friendly and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed her style of imparting facts and history by making it seem like part of a family conversation rather than a lecture from a tour guide. Her driving and parking skills were admirable.I would highly recommend that anyone wanting to visit the French Riviera contact CC from Arts and Tours for a very memorable tour!My wife, 16 year old son and I spent two wonderful half day tours with Cecile on August 18 and 19th. My wife, 16 year old son and I spent two wonderful half day tours with Cecile on August 18 and 19th. Our first tour was to Monaco, Monte Carlo, and Eze. Cecile was able to accommodate us on our desire to spend a bit more time in Eze which we really enjoyed. Our second tour was to Antibes, Cannes, and St. Paul de Vence. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed all three places, while the highlight for our son was when we stopped in Cannes in front of the Intercontinental Carlton Cannes so he could take pictures of all the luxury automobiles parked in front! Cecile's knowledge of the French Riviera and her flexibility in terms of time spent in each location was awesome. I highly recommend touring with Cecile!
