Experience the hustle and bustle of Newcastle’s famous market whilst sampling fresh Lindisfarne Oysters caught fresh this morning along with authentic Spanish cuisine and hear about how the owners import the village wine from there hometown.

Sample food and drink from local independent eateries along the quayside whilst taking in some of the best views in the city

Stop At: Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead Quays South South South Shore Road, Gateshead NE8 3BA England
Briefly step over to the other side of the water via the famous Millennium Bridge to sample sustainable and local produce from Six Restaurant located right at the top of The Baltic. Here you will take some of the best views of the city!

Incredible afternoon in ‘the toon’ with Amy! Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. The stops were varied, from street food to fine dining, but every where we went was fantastic. The value for money in this tour is some of the best I have experienced. We started in Grainger Market with some great street food stops and local beers then went on to a starter, main course and pudding in 3 different venues paired with great drinks. Amy is enthusiastic, enormous fun and doesn’t blow her own trumpet enough!!! Thanks so much Amy, a great afternoon with a really fun group. I love to go on a food tour when I travel, and now I’m spending more time in the UK I’ve been looking at opportunities to explore the food options here as well and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m so pleased to see that there is a food tour in Newcastle now. We went round the city tasting from a number of independent businesses I definitely went to places and tried things I wouldn’t have found on my own so a great experience. Can’t wait to see if they offer more tours in the future, if there was a tour including traditional Geordie food it would be something I would try.We had a wonderful afternoon with the guides looking after us very well. We sampled food and drink from street food to fine dining restaurants. All of us enjoyed the day and would highly recommend to anyone whether you are visiting Newcastle or you’re a local.
