My friends and I had one of the best experience with Dash Outdoors at Public Beach in September 2020. The staff were really helpful, well-trained and experienced. Prices of rides are reasonable and affordable. With the pandemic going on, the authorities made sure a maximum capacity of entries could enter. Free and easy, fun and safe - can't see why we wouldn't go back there again!They have booth at each main hotel and their main base is at public beach were price are cheaper. Great choice of water sport activities. Staff is very nice and helpful

Helpful staff and good prices :) We’ve rented jetski’s, SUP’s and kayaks and all the equipment is in excellent condition. Will be back again soon!

We booked a day ahead for 6pax for towing rides. The booking was for 10:30am. Everything was shut at 10:30 when we arrived and 15min later they slowly started opening the shop completely unconcerned, seemed confused about the booking and telling me it’s their friends day off. Why take a booking if you don’t have staff? When we could finally ask when we would get our rides we were told to wait an hour, the jet ski needed repairs. Wouldn’t you service your equipment prior to a busy long weekend? TWO HOURS later we finally got 4pax on a ride (not the 6pax that were booked). The staff were suppose to call us when the jet skis arrived. That never happened. We had to wait at the shop and repeatedly ask what was happening. It was the most unorganized and ridiculous experience. The kids were hot and frustrated. We met other guests with later bookings who were equally frustrated. One guest had to leave and I watched him tell his very disappointed child that there would be no ride. The one deeming thing I can say for Dash Outdoors was that the kids loved the towing ride and the drivers made it fun. The story about the jet ski needing repair made no sense to me. There was a whole fleet of jet skis on the beach. Either it was a lie or communication was just beyond bad. We requested a discount which was another debacle that took more of our morning to sort. They seemed completely confused about how many riders had gone. Please: 1. Honour your bookings 2. Service your equipment ahead of heavy use periods 3. If equipment breakdown cannot be avoided then communicate clearly with your guests and offer a discount for the inconvenience. I don’t understand why this was so hard. Please get yourselves organized.We stayed at the Westin and spent most of our trip at this sports Centre. The offerings are decent, we did kayaking, paddle boating, body boarding and fat biking. Other than the staff, their gear is well taken care off. Hate smelly life jackets. But theirs are nice and clean. Their equipment look new and are well maintained.Went to a hotel at Desaru beach. Went to a hotel at Desaru beach. First of all, I went to many places in Asia and in Western world for holidays, and I have seen how good are and how bad really are. This one is probably not terrible but close to it. They have a whatsapp and contact number but then when I tried to contact them on my arrival to the resort when they have a hut/outlet, they did not answer any call or whatsapp messages other than the bots keep saying thank you and we will be right with you (which, turns out, the next morning that they message us back). Bad service.. Then we went to the hut/outlet in our hotel’s beach and the young guy who was there has an attitude of who cares, and when I asked for the activity (which is kayak and jetski) he just say kayak is not available, and for jetski we need to go to anotherr outlet. I ask why you list it down here as activity. - to which there is no answer not even a smile. So I asked how do I get to the other place, and the answer was we just have to get there ourselves. Freakin can’t be bothered attitude aand not helpful. To our detriment we did not give up. The day after when they message our whatsapp back (in response to our message the day before) we asked if they are open for jetski and they said yes… okay we see they are open until 6.30pm and I just want to have 20 minutes of it so we came at 5.15pm. A couple of customers just went down from their jetski and I went to the hut to ask for the experience and we were told it is too late. I asked why is it too late when it is just 5.15 and they close at 6.30 and clearly the wave is okay, the answer (this time a different guy from the day before) is as “can’t be bothered”: “the person in charge just have to go”. And no other appeasement as asking will we want to come tomorrow or anything like that. Just that way and left off us. What kind of establishment is this Dash? Clearly mo customer service and seems everybody who works there does not want to be bothered by anything to do with customers. I checked the trip advisor record (should have done that earlier) and there are answers to good review and no response to the criticism… should have known this earlier and not visiting companies that does not think answering to critics is at all important. Let’s see if they do mine since I do have a lot of suggestions so that they have better business and in general, to make Malaysian tourism business better aas good as their other neighboring country.
