Mulugeta is knowledgeable, patient and empathetic - he listens to your interests and concerns, and tailors his tour to cover the most relevant places. I felt safe and comfortable the whole day - even with a bad stomach and altitude problems. I felt like Mulugeta really looked after me and was very caring. He speaks excellent English, is a great driver in the crazy traffic, and is also really fun. I wish I had had more time in Addis - I'd love to do more touring with him, and I really strongly recommend him as a guide.Mulugeta offered us a memorable and authentic experience of discovery of the Ethiopian capital, as well as the visit of Debrezet/Bishoftu only 40 kms away. For its cultural places, markets, restaurants and its rousing music bands, this country will for sure impress you.

I highly recommend booking a tour in Addis with Mulu. I traveled to Ethiopia with a small group of friends in June 2022 and we had the chance to discover a part of the country with him. The logistical organization was just perfect, from the hotel reservations to the tailor-made transportation solution for the whole group to travel together. He took us to the best places in Addis, from the must-sees (Orthodox churches, museums, parks and open-air markets...) to the most unusual and authentic places (best local restaurants, bars, concerts and cool neighborhoods). He was able to provide us with a lot of historical and cultural informations at each step of the trip. Big bonus to keep in mind if you're planning to travel outside of Addis : Mulu is originally from Lalibela, so after visiting Addis, we went with him to discover this holy place and it was an unforgettable experience. Mul is an amazing tour guide for Addis. Mul is an amazing tour guide for Addis. When I arrived at the airport, I had problem about the process to go out of the airport and made him wait for 1 or 2 hours, but he kindly waited for me and even gave me advice through the text. His knowledge of Addis is abundant, such as history, culture, religious etc. He taught me a lot of unique culture of Addis. Without him, my traveling would be so boring! I strongly recommend him as your tour guide in Addis!
