We took a 9 and 10 year old here and everybody really enjoyed the whole experience. The girls really liked the photo opportunities and also making a scented lavender bag. The information that was on offer was excellent and the girls also really enjoyed having to use torches to access the answers....

I really loved the location of the disused church, it added so much atmosphere. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the gift shop was well priced. It took us about an hour to get round everything.Fantastic value for money attraction. Started with a humorous and well informed guide at the front desk. Informative and repulsive ( in a good way) in equal measure. My wife and I learnt a lot and will never eat a kelloggs cereal without feeling guilty and mortified. We loved it from start to fin...

The experience was fantastic and very interactive, the staff were excellent in character very fitting for the theme. You can go around at your own pace reading all the interesting facts and even get to smell things from the past, which was an experience to say the least! I would say it is well worth the visit and would go again if I was ever in the area.Visited Chester and discovered this. Gives an amazing view of medicine throughout the ages. Visited here on a day trip to Chester. The museum isn’t huge but it is very informative and well laid out. We took my 3 year old with us and she enjoyed it. Even better that the more gorier content was sectioned off so could be avoided if needed. Staff were also very friendly and on our way out even gave my daughter a free pen which was a lovely sentiment. Overall would recommend if you are looking for something more unusual to do away from the normal tourist bits.
