There are lots of kennels to choose from in Fairbanks, but I highly recommend Trail Breaker Kennel, especially for anyone who is worried about the cold or concerned about having a smooth ride. I was 17 weeks pregnant for our trip so was being extra cautious about time spent in the cold and avoiding too much extraneous activity. The 30-minute ride was very smooth and we were warm and cozy under a blanket (granted we also wore like four layers of clothing and had warm winter boots and gloves on). We had so much fun learning about mushing and getting to meet some of the dogs. Katrina was a great guide and taught us a lot about the dogs, answering questions I wouldn't have even thought to ask. She also took some nice photos of us and of the dogs on my phone. It was perfect!Incredible experience, you have to do it while you have a chance, Katrina was very informative and helpful, we will come back when the kids are older.

Hermoso! Muchas gracias por esa inolvidable experiencia ☺Everyone was incredibly kind and genuine. You could see the true love for the dogs and how passionate the staff was. The tour was beautiful, educational and worth the experience. I’ll return one day
