Our Travel China Guide tour guide Liang Liang picked my small group of 10 people up from the Zhangjiajie Airport very late on Monday evening and we were lucky to have Liang Liang guide our group for Tuesday-Thursday. Liang Liang is an excellent guide with excellent English, she truly knows the language and even jokes and responds with comebacks. She is alot of fun. Zhangjiajie is one of the most beautiful places to visit and would highly recommend this be added to any itinerary! We stayed at an excellent resort, Pullman Zhangjiajie. This resort is fantastic, my only comment is that you need to bring or buy a swim cap for both men and women to swim in the pool. Most of the people in our group enjoyed inexpensive foot or Chinese body massages in the resort that I would recommend! Day 1 was a scenic boat ride on Baofeng Lake with singing to tell the tales from the area. Next we hiked Ten Mile Natural Gallery and Golden Whip Stream, the Four Gates around the Brooks. Day 2 We toured Zhangjiajie National Forest Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, First stop was the Sandstone Peak Forest Troops from Heaven and the Bailong Tourist Lift in Shuirao Simen Scenic Area, which is the highest totally exposed lift, and then took lottos photos at the Enchanting Terrace which are the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. We visited Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve Emperor Mountain, and then we walked to the Sandstone Pillar Clusters, the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks & Sandstone Peak Forest The Warrior Training Horses. Liang Liang organized tickets to a wonderful evening show Charm Xiang Xi that is right next to our resort. This shows has drums, signing, dancing, acrobatics, and lasers. They have English translations on the screen to explain the story during the show. Day 3 We walked on the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, this is the longest and highest glass bridge in the world. It was scary but super cool! Next we took the Tianzi Mountain Cable Car to top. We hiked the East Line Jasper Terrace in the Green Field hike, whichis 3.7 km. We took photos at Kunpeng Peak, rode the Escalators through the mountains, Heaven-linking Avenue and the Bonsai Garden (Hanging Garden) Square and then best photos iin front of Tianmen Cave. Bring a lock with the initials of you & your lover if you want to lock it up here but if you break up legend says you need to retrieve the lock. After cave you can either take multiple escalators down or descend 999 steps from the cave. Liang Liang took us to fun Chinese Pizza place before taking us to the airport for our next destination. Very full 3 days with Liang Liang as an excellent guide! I would recommend Travel China Guide Tours and Liang Liang! My favorite part of my China trip was the stop in Zhangjiajie. My favorite part of my China trip was the stop in Zhangjiajie. We had a fantastic guide in Weifang who showed us her beautiful hometown. Every part of the tour was breathtaking. From the great hotel, to the views of the “Avatar” mountains, the local food, and the glass bridge around Tianmen. Weifang made the trip very personable, and I felt that I was viewing the hometown of an old friend. I can not recommend this experience or Weifang enough!Best experience, best time management, best food recommendation, best of everything! We had a very great time traveling and we are very satisfied with our trip!

We visited Zhangjiajie about 3 days with Amanda. We really enjoyed our tour, Amanda can talk very good English and did a very good job with the itinerary. We could really see all the beautiful and spectacular sites and make beautiful pictures. She also explained us many interesting facts about the population living in this area, the costumes, the traditions and most important: the food. I could also improve my Chinese by learning new words. Thank you Amanda!Zhangjiajie is worth being traveled for 3 or 4 days. Spectacular national park. Amazing landscape. Zhangjiajie is worth being traveled for 3 or 4 days. Spectacular national park. Amazing landscape. It is convenient to add one more day because there is always a chance of rain and fog. This occured us and we were unable to enjoy a part of the park. In any case, the best part of the tour was the guide. Her name is Weifang. A very young and very professional tour guide that exceeds all expectations and makes the tour a real pleasure. Not only does it explain everything about the park, but it also explains the Chinese culture, the social and cultural life of a beautiful country and all this with a personal closeness and an exquisite education. My advice is that you ask for her if you hire this tour.
