Waipara is a picturesque valley in the north of Christchurch. This is one of New Zealand’s premier wine regions where pinot noir and riesling grapes do very well here. We will visit a series of cellars and tasting rooms, which may include Waipara Hills, Pegasus Bay, Waipara Springs, and Torlesse Wines (wineries are subject to change without notice depending on availability).
We are all about the experience, so we want to make sure that you have 100% worry-free tastings of NZ's finest wine. Lunch, tastings, and snacks and photographer are included so all you need to do is join us, seat and enjoy your day.

From our 8 hectare estate in New Zealand's Waipara Valley, we produce some of NZ's finest Syrah and Pinot Gris, as well as the perennial customer favourite, our Rosé. Our commitment to meticulous viticulture and traditional winemaking techniques shines through in every glass, so that you can be assured that each bottle of Georges Road Wines you experience is sure to delight.

Waipara Springs is the founding Winery and Café of Waipara, established in 1989. Now in its 3rd Generation of management. In keeping with past generations, your hosts Andrew and Katie very much share the vision of “Wine, Dine, Relax”. Our motto is about providing a knowledgeable wine and premium dining experience, in a relaxing setting for all customers to enjoy. Premium Wines are produced using tradition techniques from estate grown vines to complement the colourful and quality culinary experience, with ingredients sourced from local North Canterbury suppliers.

From the very first moment Jesse made everything SO simple and easy! The girls had a blast on this trip & said each winery was absolutely lovely and the hosts were all great. The only thing that would make it perfect is to be told which wineries they were going to which I believe they were told upon pick up but also understand the wineries aren't guaranteed but it would be nice to be told prior to pick up. Everything went really great and everyone enjoyed themselves. Well organised and easy to arrange everything so I was really impressed. Thank You!rebeccaj98

I used Cheeky Wine Tours for a Hens party a few weekends ago. We had almost 30 people attending and Jesse and the team and Cheeky Wine Tours made the experience so easy. Jesse was so accomodating in the organisation process even when I changed the plan constantly to accommodate all the guests. ...
I used Cheeky Wine Tours for a Hens party a few weekends ago. We had almost 30 people attending and Jesse and the team and Cheeky Wine Tours made the experience so easy. Jesse was so accomodating in the organisation process even when I changed the plan constantly to accommodate all the guests. on the day our driver Trish was great. She was the perfect blend of doing her job to keep us all safe but understanding that hens party should be fun and noisey. The venues we went to were perfect and they even provided snacks along the way and took many photos throughout the day. All n all I can not recommend Cheeky Wine tours highly enough!Inayd123

Had the most amazing day touring the Waipara region. The team at Cheeky were super helpful and didn't hesitate to provide us with anything we required. Everyone on our tour had a great time and I would recommend Cheeky to anyone thinking of organising a Waipara Wine Tour.
