This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Positano, Positano, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania
It is considered to be the pearl of the divine coast for its vertical architecture developed on the slopes of a steep cliff overlooking a magnificent emerald colour sea.
Steps and steps everywhere round the small centre full of colourful shops selling all the most different local products: clothes, ceramics and the delicious local cakes. Its parish church dominates the whole village with a magnificent majolica tiles paved dome. The drive starts with the most impressive view over the Bay of Salerno, the winding road is full of delightful corners for photo stops and charming outlook over the most splendid emerald coloured sea.
Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone. Its houses climb a hill so steep it would be a cliff except that stairs are cut in it. I believe that whereas most house foundations are vertical, in Positano they are horizontal.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Amalfi, Amalfi, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania
Certainly the most famous town of the coast for its glorious past having been the oldest maritime republic and still preserving monuments proving it, like the Duomo, the remains of the arsenal and one of the oldest Italian paper factory.
Also considered the mother land of Flavio Gioia the presumed inventor of the sea compass. The town centre is worth of a visit also for shopping purposes.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Ravello, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania
The town of Ravello is for sure the best place where to leave the crowds and where to enjoy the quiet of a village, where most of the historical centre is still untamed, and still recalling the magnificence of the grand private residences once belonging to the most important local noble families.
The most famous of them is opened to the public “villa Rufolo”, dating back to 11th century, belonged to the family with the same name and in the 19th century sheltered Richard Wagner, who was inspired by the beauty of its gardens and the views for the composition of the 2nd act of its Parsifal. One more too, is worth of visiting, though 15 min. walk from the main square, Villa Cimbrone*.

Roberto was absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond and even stayed longer than her should have because of traffic which he didn’t have to do. Never rushed us and even recommended a restaurant for us which honestly was spectacular, once in a lifetime. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Our experience with Silver Star and Louisa / Massemo was excellent at every opportunity. Lousia as manager handled all our frequent inquires with skill and patience. Massemo who was our driver for both the Amalfi Coast tour and the trip to Naples airport was knowledgeable, charming and dependable. They have been a team for many years and it shows in their results. They even averted a tragedy when a bag was left on the floor of the car at the airport. A call to Lousia found Massemo and the bag was found and returned to us at the airport. We are grateful to them in many many ways. I would recommend them for both tours and car service. We had such an enjoyable day and so care free. Sorrento Silver Tour guide Massimo was the best! We had such an enjoyable day and so care free. Sorrento Silver Tour guide Massimo was the best! At the very beginning of our tour he made the three of us forget all worries of buying bus tickets, waiting for buses, missing buses, instead it was a very comfortable ride in a Mercedes with a very knowledgeable and experienced driver. Massimo suggestions for local eateries and Amalfi Coast highlights were just what we needed. Thank you so much for the special day Massimo and Sorrento Silver Tours! What a wonderful once in a life time experience I had with my friends today. What a wonderful once in a life time experience I had with my friends today. The vistas were amazing and our driver Massimo made it all happen. It was a no stress day. He was very accommodating with what ever we wanted he said "No problem". He made reservations for us at the best restaurant that had the most delicious food. Netta the owner made you feel like you were at her kitchen table. So authentic. Massimo made us feel comfortable as passengers on a chaotic drive through traffic that we would never have maneuvered ourselves and survive. Thanks Massimo for a special trip!Roberto was our driver and guide for 3 days while we were in Italy. Upon our arrival in Rome he meant us at the airport and was amazing from the start. Roberto was our driver and guide for 3 days while we were in Italy. Upon our arrival in Rome he meant us at the airport and was amazing from the start. He handled all our luggage, 8 pieces, and safely drove us to the Amalfi coast. Before taking us to the Hotel Miramalfi he took us on a driving tour including a stop for lunch in Ravello. His restaurant suggestion was amazing. Our second day with Roberto was also wonderful. We drove along the coast and had a wonderful lunch in Sorrento. He always gave us walking directions so it was easy to find him again. We stopped to admire beautiful beaches and sites and spent an hour or so in Positano as well. Our last day in Italy was a joy as well. We had been on the Isle of Capri and he meant us at the ferry. We were very happy to see his smiling face. He took us to a local pizza restaurant in Naples and stayed with the vehicle the entire time. Our final destination was a hotel near the Rome airport. We were all very sad to leave Italy and I think we all agree we made a friend who helped us create beautiful memories. Thank you Roberto.
