We did a private tour with Edison. He was a great guide who spoke excellent English and was really knowledgeable about the park. We had a great 3 hour walk in the upper park where his expertise really showed by describing flora and fauna even knowing the proper Latin names. We had a super good trout lunch and did a shorter walk to a smaller lake at lower altitudes. In all a nice full day hanging out with a knowledgeable, friendly guy. Diego was an extremely knowledgeable guide, friendly and professional with perfect English. I booked a private tour, it was so so worth it to go at my own pace and be able to ask questions about local plants and animals. Diego patiently answered my one hundred questions and we had pleasant conversation otherwise. Private transportation lunch and a quality guide made this the perfect way to see the untamed beauty of the park.We had a great day with Wilson. He has a very broad knowledge about the plants and animals and showed us a lot. He also took care of us and made sure we were fine with the altitude during the hike. Cajas is a very beautiful and interesting place to visit. We can only recommend the tour!
