You know an experience is amazing when your mind still swims with the things you learned after you are back home... We booked the Anthropology Museum tour before our trip. Because we enjoyed the tour so much, we were lucky enough to book a second tour of Chapultepec Castle for another day. Both were fabulous. Ana has a way of personalizing situations and circumstances from history so that they come to life. I will book her for future trips and will be recommending her to all my friends. The Museum is so extensive and laid out so well that we learned so very much about Mexico’s PreHispanic anthropological history. Our favourite part of the Museum of anthropology, private tour was seeing the artefacts and listening to our excellent guide. Anna put everything in Contacts in a fascinating storytelling way. I cannot imagine visiting this museum without understanding, the history, and context of what we were looking at. We could not believe how quickly the hours passed as we were so riveted by this experience. We Learned about the flow of human migration into the Americas both through the Bering strait and by boat.Ana Acosta very adeptly Illustrated the evolution of group identity and hierarchy to the acquisition of power and use of religion. We Learned about the flow of human migration into the Americas both through the Bering strait and by boat.Ana Acosta very adeptly Illustrated the evolution of group identity and hierarchy to the acquisition of power and use of religion. I was very impressed with her knowledge and the organization of its presentation. That museum’s presentation of artifacts and dioramas really help me understand the evolution of the various groups at the various locations in Mexico. I highly recommend this tour and AinaAcosta,, our personable, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide.Ana was a fantastic tour guide on this 4-hour private tour of the Anthropology Museum. Ana was a fantastic tour guide on this 4-hour private tour of the Anthropology Museum. She was extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter and able to bring it to life for people are just learning about the history of the land now known as Mexico. Given the breadth and depth of the collection, the museum would be absolutely overwhelming without a guide, and we loved having Ana teach us in a fun and accessible way. She was incredibly energetic and seems to really enjoy the subject matter and cares about making it fun and enjoyable for her guests. The time passed very quickly. Note that the museum does not allow food or drink inside (even water bottles have to be stored at the front). So hydrate and eat well before you start the tour!My wife and I spent two short days in Mexico City and our tour of the Anthropology Museum was the highlight of our trip. My wife and I spent two short days in Mexico City and our tour of the Anthropology Museum was the highlight of our trip. The museum is stunning and Ana, our private tour guide, was fantastic. Her extensive knowledge helped us understand and appreciate the complicated history and culture of ancient Mexico. Ana brought the objects in the museum alive for us in a very engaging manner and we would absolutely book this tour again with her.
