Stop At: Arlington National Cemetery, Entrance at Arlington Memorial Bridge, Arlington, VA 22211
A sobering reminder of the realities of war, the Arlington National Cemetery is a beautiful tribute to over 400, 000 service members and their families buried there. Learn about the more famous tombs, like that of President John F. Kennedy. Explore a few surprising graves, like that of famed boxer Joe Louis. The cemetery is even home to memorials commemorating the disasters of space shuttles Columbia and Challenger.
Along with a few carefully selected residents like Audie Murphy, your guide will take you to the Tomb of the Unknowns where you may even witness a Changing of the Guard ceremony. Walk these hallowed grounds to learn how the home of Robert E. Lee, whose Arlington House we’ll visit, became one of the country’s largest national cemeteries.

Donna provided a superb tour for us. We had our 12-year-old grandchild with us and she built her commentary around him as well as us so that it was always presented at a level of detail that included us all. My wife and I have been on many tours over our lifetime and Donna's knowledge, presentation, and professional skills were the best we have experienced which is a very honest assessment and complement. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, including about the powerful change of guards at the tombs of the unknown soldiers and we saw some features that we would have completely missed without her

In our 2 hours we learned so much, saw so much — and yet, we could have happily spent another 2 hours with her. A moving experience remembering those who have given all to keep us free.

We visited Arlington National Cemetery yesterday and took a private walking tour. This was a fabulous way to experience the gorgeous grounds and learn some interesting facts about a place steeped in history. Our guide, Donna, was thoroughly knowledgeable and passionate and made the experience even better. She kept our teens, 15 and 20, engaged throughout. We highly recommend this experience. Don’t forget to ask for Donna!Tony was our guide and he was wonderful - informed, respectful, thoughtful, kind and funny. We learned a lot about Arlington National Cemetery thanks to him.
