An absolute treat of a programme that takes around 50 minutes.Artemis Hamam and Spa, which was established in 2012, has been serving as the only traditional hamam in the island.The establishment is constructed on a 2000 m2 land and contains 2 large and 1 private Hamams, 6 massage rooms, 2 locker rooms for ladies and gentlemen, 2 large saunas, vitamin bar, nail studio, hair dresser, textile & gift shops .
Every season; it employs around 20 qualified masseuses/masseurs and 2 professional nail artists from different nations, who are professionally licensed. All of the units are getting cleaned several times everyday with eco-friendly products only. All of our guests are welcomed at the reception and served their private locker key, where they can find fresh and clean towels, traditional peshtemals and slippers free of charge to use during their Hamam experience. .

Ganz so euphorisch wie die anderen Bewerter bin ich jetzt nicht. Wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt. Der wirklich nette Fahrer kam allerdings 20 min. später, d so dass wir erst einmal dachten, wir wären vergessen worden. Nun gut. Als wir dann ankamen, wurden wir nett begrüßt, mit der Bitte, noch "kurz"...

Der wirklich nette Fahrer kam allerdings 20 min. später, d so dass wir erst einmal dachten, wir wären vergessen worden. Nun gut. Als wir dann ankamen, wurden wir nett begrüßt, mit der Bitte, noch "kurz" zu warten. Das ging dann nochmals über eine halbe Stunde, dass wir dort einfach nur rumsaßen. Endlich in der Umkleide! Man bekam ein Handtuch und ein Tuch, in dem man sich einwickeln konnte. Zuerst ging es in die Dusche, anschließend die ca. 10 Minuten in die Sauna. Nach einer weiteren Dusche ging in nach draußen, wo man wieder recht lange warten musste, bis man von oben bis unten mit Schlamm eingerieben wurde. War das geschafft, blieb man so lange in diesem Hof stehen, bis der Schlamm getrocknet war. Schade, es gab keine Sitzmöglichkeit in der Sonne, außer ein kleines Mäuerchen, für meine knapp 80 jährige Mutter war es ein bisschen anstrengend. Nach ca. weiteren 30 Minuten war auch das geschafft, man konnte sich den Schlamm dann im Garten abduschen. Wer nicht so gerne kalt duscht, muss da halt durch, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Weiter ging es nach drinnen. Wir wurden in den Hamamraum geführt, wo noch andere Personen am Ende ihrer Behandlung standen. Mit uns dreien war noch ein weiteres Paar neu im Raum. Nun musste man wieder Geduld haben und waaaaarten. Nach geschätzt 20 Minuten kamen endlich 4 Personen in den Raum. Zwei kümmerten sich um das Paar, zwei kamen zu uns. Da wir drei waren, hieß es zunächst für mich: weiter warten und den anderen zusehen. Als ich endlich an der Reihe war, mussten die anderen beiden dann genau so lange wieder auf mich warten, wobei ich das Gefühl hatte, unser wirklich guter Masseur machte ein bisschen schneller, wodurch die Behandlung dann natürlich kürzer ausfiel. Das fand ich schade. Fazit: Ich hoffe, wir haben einfach nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt, denn es kam mir ein bisschen wie ein Fließband vor, dass oft gestockt hat. Anstatt der veranschlagten 1,5 Stunden waren wir 3 Stunden weg. Für jeweils 58€ pro Person hätten wir das Ganze auch entspannter hier im Hotel machen können, aufgrund der tollen Bewertungen sind wir aber hier gelandet. Der nette Fahrer sagte mir auch, dass sehr viel los war und ich kann mir vorstellen wenn man einen besseren Tag erwischt, ist es bestimmt ein viel tolleres Erlebnis ohne ständiges Warten.Laurie_A

Netter Fahrer der einen vom Hotel abholt und obwohl der Verkehr so voll war haben wir als Entschuldigung das Schlammbad kostenlos bekommen. Das Hamam war wunderbar, man fühlte sich wie ein Baby das von seiner Mutter gewaschen wurde. Personal war superfreundlich, man hat öfters nachgefragt ob wir ...

Sales staff way too pushy - beware I got a leaflet in town for a Hamam treatment from ,,€33... I phoned & they said yes (didn't tell me it had gone up till I got there) Their hotel pick up & drop service is excellent. I got there to the biggest up sell sales guy, who only W ted to push the€125 package...he kept coming back to it. I had to remind him I was 3 times his age & I knew want I wanted & a young sales upstart was not going to tell me what he wanted me to do...then the front counter lady took over on the same speel. Not happy !!! Then there was no communication when I booked by phone to bring swimmers & thongs. One staff member chastised me for using the towel given to wipe myself dry when ordered to shower upon start of treatment... No advice given that there was no segregation as I'd had at all 4 Turkish baths I've had in Turkey. No one told me to bring thongs. After Hamam they seem to dump U in the blaring sun, almost forget you...my feet were burning on the concrete I had to walk over. The 2 crew for Hamam & massage were excellent by the way. It appears to be front of house management that are causing these They offer you juices at daylight robbery prices...happy cocktail hour in Kos town starts with €5 & here are watered down juices being sold for a high price. Nothing like ripping the tourist off hey..... It's a sorry management state of affairs at Artemis Hamam on KosConnector55915908940

We booked a transfer for the spa via our hotel which was fine. We got picked up at the correct time. We arrived at the spa and was told to wait which we did and a lady came over to explain the packages. We opted for the VIP package. We were taken down to the changing area which was clean then taken to the steam room before our Hamam treatment. The girls were lovely and this treatment was excellent however it went down hill from there. We were taken to the “chill out” area before the rest of our treatments and it was dirty. Old cups laying everywhere. We were handed a drinks menu and we ordered thinking a drink was included in the package but it wasn’t. It was an extra €12 on top of the €200 we had already paid. Not even a glass of water was offered. We were eventually taken for our massage and ad a massage therapist myself qualified in over 4 different massages I was not happy at all. This was supposed to be a de-stress massage but it felt like the therapist did not know what he was doing. After the massage there was supposed to be a facial treatment (cleansing of the skin, exfoliating, peel and massage) but we only received a mask which was done by one therapist for two people. The treatment finished and we returned to our hotel. I questioned them via email why we didn’t receive the full facial treatment. They did reply apologising and offered to complete the facial treatment (free of charge) which I declined as there was not much point as we wanted the treatments all together. I asked for a refund of the difference as we only received the package that was €75 and not the VIP at €95 They did offer towels as a GOGW but we wanted a refund. They haven’t replied since after numerous emails sent to them. Very disappointed with this so called SPA. Will not be back
