Sample Menu
• Appetizer - Dry-aged salami from Tandil, with pickles and cheese. We pair this with a local favorite cocktail, the Fernandito (Coke and Fernet).
• Spinach Mango and Caramelized Pecan Salad - We will show you how to caramelize the pecans and cut the mango for our signature salad. We mix in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
• Choripan - A classic starter for any asado. The choripan is a pork sausage sandwich served on a bread roll and covered with your own chimichurri.
• Morcipan - We serve our blood sausage on bread and top it with salsa criolla. This is a fresh salsa made with onions, bell peppers, and vinegar.
• Matambrito (Pork Flank Steak) - This cut only exists in Argentina. We marinate it overnight in a mixture of vinegar, freshly squeezed lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pizza seasonings.
• Strip Steak or Picanha (depends on availability) - The main cut of steak is perfectly cooked to your preference by our expert grill master. We garnish it with a little bit of your own chimichurri.
• Mate (pronounced Mah-teh) - Misnomer, this is normally not served as dessert, except for the presentation we make, which is traditional and requires the use of charcoal embers.
• Vigilantes - A traditional dessert of a thick slice of cheese with quince paste. We like to sprinkle a little smoked sea salt on top.

Frank is a terrific guide to the tastes and traditions of the Argentine asado. Although I have visited BA a number of times, I learned a great deal and had a great time.

The overall experience was terrific - a real asado in a regular home setting, along with a fun walk through the neighborhood with examples of local art and amenities. The food was super delicious, perfectly prepared and well matched with excellent Argentinian wines. I was traveling with a work group and we spent our only day off with Frank and his AsadoAdventure team. We had a great time exploring Palermo with Frank. As advertised, we were able to shop for our wine, meat and bread all while learning about the neighborhood. Preparing the accompaniments, like the salad and chimichurri, was a lot of fun and a part of our trip to Buenos Aires we could take home with us. The asado was excellent as were the other elements of our meal. Frank was a lot of fun and certainly knowledgeable of the food, the customs and the stories of Palermo. Overall a great experience and the highlight of our trip to Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.
