Awesome experience! Even though it was cloudy the whole day, the skies finally cleared just in time to see the lights.

Angie and Champ were both great hosts (and yes, I did enjoy the puns). The weather did not cooperate, but even though we didn’t see the Aurora, I learned so much that it really enriched my experience later in the week when the Northern Lights did put on a show. The lodge was very comfortable, and the homemade cookies were a treat. They took us to the lodge, where was nice, clean and warm. They took us to the lodge, where was nice, clean and warm. The lodge was owned by a technical guy, he put a camera on the outside and you can see whether there’s any northern light inside. Once there is any you can go out and take pictures. I like this modern style a lot. He can also take pictures and you can pay some tips to get those, which was fair. The lodge isn’t too far from the city so there’re some light pollution, but not too bad. The van was very comfortable and the guide was nice. Finally, we’re very lucky on that day the northern light was extremely active. Considering the price I would def recommend this tour for anyone looking for aurora chasing in Fairbanks.Where to start....this was my third attempt to see the Aurora during my trip to Fairbanks. Where to start....this was my third attempt to see the Aurora during my trip to Fairbanks. Forecast wasn't great but still decided to go, Third times a charm anyone? My guide Lexi came and picked me up from the hotel. Super fun from the get go. After picking up another family, headed to Moke's lodge (hope I spelled his name correctly :-) Fantastic lodge to view any Aurora from. Coffee, cookies, WI-FI, couches, warmth, large windows and a fantastic deck outside. Around 12:15am, the Aurora showed herself!! Lexi was always available to help take photos and talk about the Aurora as did Moke. Lexi was just as excited to see the Aurora's as much as I was! Such a super place and tour! Would highly recommend this tour during Aurora season. And if you do, ask for Lexi!! She 's the best!Guide was absolutely great and helpful got some great pictures of the aurora lodge to stay warm in was a great thing
